Hello, my name is Kittie.
I'm 16 and have been going through chronic lyme treatment for about two years now, and I've actually experienced this before. I noticed that for a while it was hard to stand, walk, and going up stairs was especially difficult (I crawled up them using my hands as well). I was out of school at the time due to the fact that I was basically bed ridden, and I spent most of my time laying down and asleep. I found that eventually, it went away as if it was just another phase of getting through the disease, though it didn't get to the point of not being able to walk at all. (I did have to use some support at times such as tables to hold onto, door frames to grab, etc.) If it gets to that point where you can't walk even with those things, I would certainly consult an LLMD, though if not, it seems like what I had gone through, which passed like any other symptom phase. I hope that this helps, and if you have any other questions, feel free to contact me! Have a happy recovery!
