Although reactions to medications can be a concern, if you are sure that you aren't having an allergic reaction to it, then herxes can and do get severe, even life threatening for some - so don't push it!
If you haven't already, it would be helpful for you to start with reading through the thread at the top of the forum titled,
"New to Lyme?...Start here!!", as it is packed full of important information, symptom lists (as Lyme rarely occurs by itself), helpful links and pdf's, how to detox when one has these infections, and a list of questions that you can ask any doctor that you are seeking treatment from!
As Nan was saying, are you detoxing? Your headaches are either from one of the infections or are due to the need to detox better. As the bacteria dies off, it releases toxins that build up in our bodies quite often. causing an increase in our symptoms (
www.encognitive.com/node/5768). These infections often make it difficult for our bodies to detox on their own so we have to help, otherwise we just get more and more ill - trust me!
Lyme isn't often passed without another tick-borne infection/virus tagging along, and if you don't get the other tick-borne infections treated, it's not likely that you will be able to get the Lyme disease under control.
