Infrared Sauna: trying to find a inexpensive place in Seattle that lets you use one

Hi all -

Has anyone in Seattle found a place that is inexpensive where you can go to use a infrared sauna a couple times a week? Are regular saunas bad?

I use a portable one at home that I bought through Amazon. Really makes you sweat I try and do it a couple of times a week. Don't go too hot for too long too fast you should build up to it. Today I think I did too long and was nauseous and dizzy had to stop. But it does help you get the toxins out.

I bought a portable one on amazon for $160. I sweat like crazy in it and it's so nice to be able to use it at home.i'm too ill most of the time to go to the gym to use one. Being able to use it at home is much better.

I was thinking of buying one also, can you sit it up anywhere or does it have to be in a specific place? I was just worried about the lyme getting out and infecting my kids, if that is possible?

I don't have a FIR sauna, but I wish that I had purchased one when Heather was ill. Frankly, I may still purchase one someday, as i think that it is one of the best things that a person could buy to promote good health.

Knowing what I know now, I would purchase it if I were you. Please do your homework, though, to make sure that you don't get one that would have poisonous materials that would harm you.

Justme, You can put it anywhere. It is also easy to collapse it to put it away completely. I don't think that the kids could get Lyme from the sauna. From what I understand, Lyme can't survive on surfaces outside the body. That's one reason that it's so hard to study and analyze-very hard to grow in a petri dish.
