White House Petition - And an Idea

So I looked up Lyme support groups in DE and MD and emailed all of the support groups a link to the petition and a brief explanation of it and asked if they could please forward it to their respective email lists. If everybody does this for the state they live in it could really have quite a snowball effect. Just type on here the state that you did so we don't repeat it too much.

Yes, this petition hit Arkansas a few days ago - I signed of course!

I sent it to 2 support groups that I could find in Ohio. Not sure where to find a list of all of them though.

I will work on Ct tonight... I was thinking of writing a letter to my local news station, talking about the lyme and seeing if I can get the petition on the news... Especially since Dr Jones is 15 minutes away from me and there is so much going on and surrounding him right now? What do you guys think?

I emailed support group leaders in California, Washington, Oregon, Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire. I also started a Twitter account devoted to Lyme awareness and cause and connected with a lot of people with Lyme. I tweeted the petition a zillion times and other people retweeted it too. I'll try to do more tonight, if I have the energy.

I really hope a miracle happens and we can get the 25,000 signatures.

I'm not sure exactly what a tweet is... but if you could tweet on Ben Stiller page - he had lyme.

oh I hope that is no glitch with the sys. and the votes are accurate....

This is still a very controversial disease. Lots of people won't stick their necks out - even if they've had it! We have to focus on those that will stick out their necks and admit publicly that they have had the disease and that the ID guidelines are doing more harm than good.
