Infer Red Sauna , and pain

I just wanted to do a little update, I brought a lower cost sauna, because money is tight, and I wasn't sure if it was going to help me or not.

I am on day three of the sauna, and I am experiencing some relieve. I was in so much pain in my legs, and arms, that I would cry, now I am getting hot spots of pain. It's not all over anymore, just in spots. I am able to be on the treadmill longer now, the seizures are less.

I am not telling everyone to go out and get one, I am just telling my experience. I also added back the colloidal silver , a teaspoon a day, and it is helping me.

I think my mind is a little clearer, and I feel like I am on to something here. I also have added exercise in my daily life, some days its very difficult, so I only do what I can.

I would like to hear about other peoples experience with the saunas.

I wanted to chime in about the FIR saunas. I have a horrible time detoxing. I can't do baths but I have found that the sauna helps a lot. I have to say that I have always hated heat and hate sweating. I went out and bought one of the portable ones at the suggestion of my doctor. He thought that the struggles I had with the warm epsome salt baths could be due to my inability to effectively sweat and in water it can be reabsorbed or harder to sweat.

I started slowly using it on level 2 (mine doesn't have temps, just levels). I started using it for 7 minutes, then upped it to 10, 12, 15, 17, etc. I found that I didn't sweat much until I got closer to 25-30 minutes in it. I was using it 2-3 times a week. I also found that if I worked out first and then used it, it was more effective for me. When I mean work out I mean 20/30 easy to moderate yoga (using dvd).

I would sometimes feel light headed and often times though I wouldn't sweat during the sauna I would sweat at night if I did it right before I went to bed. I read that for some it can take time to start sweating in the sauna. I did take niacin and I think calcium citrate right before using the sauna along with drinking 24 oz of H2O to help with the light headedness and then lots of water after.

I am currently off of abx and herbals for 3 weeks. I've taken this time to try to detox a ton. I have been able to use my sauna on level 3 now for 30 minutes, 3-4 times a week with no issues. I think that being on the abx coupled with the heat made it harder for me to use the sauna for long periods of time. I was just thinking of stepping up to level 4 next time I get in if I'm not back on the abx after tomorrow's doc appt..

I do find that regardless of the temperature, after using the sauna my symptoms do flair. My joint pains are worse a few hours after the sauna. My lumps in my fatty tissue in my arm and stomach flair up and my lymph nodes often get harder under my right arm pit and under my chin. I feel worse but then I feel better as long as I can get my bowels moving and it usually helps me. It does release some tension in my muscles which are my biggest struggle. It does wipe me out but I think clearer and a few hours later I start to feel better.

If you're having a hard time detoxing, I would highly suggest it but please take it easy and gradually build up time and temp. I jumped up too quickly and I paid dearly for 2.5 days. And I always dry brush before getting into the sauna which I think helps me sweat easier. Just avoid the urge to read a book while in there with the portable ones. It will cause you to loose heat quickly so just keep everything inside except your head if you want!

I feel for me the sauna is helping me, I do drink lots of water, but maybe will try the dry skin brush before , anything that helps I am willing to try.

I do the treadmill every day that I can, and it helps me with my legs, I have great upper arm strength, but my legs were becoming to weak to hold me up.

He is a amazing doctor, he wants to do some blood work today, he is checking for chemical toxins, and some other things. He said that if my liver enzymes comes back better this time around, next visit we are going to do a bug removal .

He gave me a few samples of ulta inflam x 360 its suppose to help with the inflammation, I have horrible pain. He is a doctor that doesn't go by Lyme tests, he goes by symptoms, and is treating the while body. He said it's his job , to get my body to detox, and help my seizures, He is not a LLMD, but a better doctor than the LLMD I saw a few months ago. The other doctor seemed to be more into how much money he could get out of a person, instead of helping people.

He looks at the whole package of your body, and figures out ways to help you, my liver , and blood count is pretty bad, also the neuro symptoms are pretty rough, so he is trying to work on those as well.

The great thing about him , is he calls you asks how you are doing , for updates without charging. Also if I have a question, I can shoot him a email, and he will answer it, there should be more doctors like him out there.

The amazing thing is he is not a family doctor he is a chiropractor , but he has like 10 different degrees, and believes in treating the whole body, he is also a natural path doctor, and it kind of rough. He said on my first visit, if you don't think you are going to get you better , I can't help you. He said , it's mind , and body, also he strict on the food I eat, but he is a darn good doctor, and he is helping me.

I have been throwing up some parasites the last couple of weeks, so we know they are there, I just have to get strong enough to go after them.

With me, I think if one doctor doesn't work, I will move on to the next. I did see a LLMD, and I didn't like that fact he pushed his own herbs, he didn't want me buying them from anywhere else, and his were very expensive some 78.00 a bottle. I can't afford that.

I may still see a llmd for the co-infection test when I have more money right now , just trying to make it day to day. I am doing better on the Sauna, and for the price , I can't beat it, it helps so much with the pain, I haven been in tears in a while.


I hope everyone of us find a way to put the Lyme into remission, we just have to take it day by day, Its a very difficult disease.

I bought a portable infared sauna off of Amazon and I really like it. I try to use it everyother day.

And the days I don't I take an Epsom Salt Bath to detox. I have noticed that when I do not keep up with these detoxing methods I feel awful.

I use it for 30 minutes and work up a good sweat. I have noticed an increase in energy afterwards.

I do believe I herx from it, as my pain levels will increase after using it. Start slowly, drink lot's of water before and after.
