Need Help Reading My Igenex Results

Hello everyone

I recently have seen a llmd here in tampa fl. I was having weird symptoms at the end of 2010. But another weird thing is I became pretty depressed at frst before all my symptoms came. Around Oct 2010 is when all bad things happened and when i thought i getting depression. Then in Dec 2010 I became pretty ill something that was not normal for me bc ive had the flu before but it goes away within a day bc i always ate healthy and excercised. This time it lasted for a wk but after i got over it the symptoms became pretty weird like dizziness, anxiety, blurred vision, once again i thought it was depression. This went on for a while and i saw numerous drs, i went to 4 neurologists, 4 ent drs, 3 pcp, i even saw internal medicine drs because recommned me to test for EBV, HHV6, CMV. When i got the results backlast yr it did show i was positive for past exposure of ebv but im negative for current and i know most people have it in their system. So i went to this dr now in tampa that is a llmd and infectious disease dr and we sent my blood to igenex to do westen blot. These are my results

I still have symptoms but i didnt know if this is a clear cut posiive or could it actually be a cross reaction to ebv

The dr wants me to take doxy n tindamax

Any input would be great, thanks in advance

Bands 18 & 41 are both only indicating the "tail" of the spirochete, and there are a couple of spirochetal infections that can cause this to show up on this test, so it's not specific to Lyme.

Band 66 is a heat shock protein that can become positive under certain conditions, but I don't know if it's considered specific to Lyme or not.

I can say that these results have nothing to do with the EBV. Many with Lyme also have an active EBV status because our immune systems are so low that any and all viruses and such get to do what they please.

If you have the symptoms of Lyme or co-infections, then regardless of what blood tests may or may not say, you need treatment. The blood tests are quite faulty (for many reasons) and can be read wrong by many who have not been trained properly.
