Can anyone tell me how to get diagnosed.I'm sure i have lyme, but the first results were negative. .i don't think my insurance covers igenex.

You need to find a LLMD and you will probably have to send tests off to Igenex at some point. Their Lyme panel is about $200. Most LLMD's will treat clinically, but most like to have the test to see what they're dealing with.

Thank you the nearest one is 4 Hrs in another state.my Dr is all about it just says igenex wouldn't take insurance..said it was 1500.:) if 200, I'm in! My naturopath says if it's not lyme, it's some serious bacteria! Gums are affected now, Neuropathy etc..I'm a healthy person..this is bad. My Dr and ND are great,..they just need bloodwork

There are many different panels through IGENIX, but go ahead and start with the IGM and IGG western blot. It is $200. you can order the kit directly through IGENIX,have your dr. sign-off on it, take the kit w/ you to have your blood drawn, include payment when you send it back to IGENIX through Fedex. IGENIX does require payment with the blood draw in order to process it, but my insurance did reimburse me for a portion of it.

If your Dr. and NP are trained to treat lyme disease and lyme co-infections, that is wonderful! It is a tough disease to treat, which is why so many need to see a LLMD, but there are many who go to NPs also.

Knee blew out first,IC bladder, cement running thru my body, neuropathy after that, knots on scalp, weird face feelings, treated high for bacteria on biofeedback, tested for RA all of a sudden, gums got red today,..tiny tick was on me last may

Kind of wondering why the nurse in my Dr said Igenex was 1500?..oh well, I'm calling them tomorrow

Depends - the whole panel probably costs $1500. The lyme only cost $200 but they have a lyme panel which is more as well.

Oh..yes im sure i need the Co infections one...btw,i have a lot more things going in like back, eyes, etc..this sore knot on my head is crazy
