Hi there.
Maybe we should all change our names to include "poop"
I could be Tickledpoop, then you might like Achievingpoop .Deejapoop.the possibilities are endless,what do you all think?

Great idea, Tickled!! LOL!! Although I do have to admit I'm not so sure about my choices - tongue Traveler poop, traveling poop, pooptrav, yeah, none of them sound too good!! LOL!!! smilewinkgrin

Of course, poor Achievinggrace's wouldn't be that much better!! LOL!!!

PS - I think I've reverted to kindergarten!!! LOL! Giggling about this!!! turn

I just wanted to add that although the subject of "poop" does tend to be avoided amoung most people,animals use "poop" to extract valuable information.Everyone who owns dogs knows that they spend hours smelling other dog's "poop"They can detect the health of a dog,its diet and loads of other things.just from the"aroma" i'm not advocating this for humans but it just goes to show how valuable "poop" is for determining a person's health.

Oh goodness!  I just walked in after being out the entire day and I am laughing so hard that I can't type... Taking deep breath... Took sip of water...

Okay, I like Deejapoop or Deejapoo, kind of has a ring to it, LOL!  And I like Travelingpoop...  Hey, it does travel right?  Or else how would it get to the end of it's journey? 

And I did miscalculate big time!  Oh, where did my brain go?  I think it went to poop...

And long live the pooples?  That's it..  I can't type again..  pause, backspace, pause...  I am really cracking up here that my tummy hurts!! 

And I am to return a phone call where I need to be serious.. I can't do this!  LOL!!

I just wanted to say that although this post does contain bouts of extreme silliness(from all 3 of us),

it is actually a very interesting and informative thread which delves into the importance of frequent and healthy bowel movements.

Our digestive systems are vital to our healing process,because what comes out mirrors what is going on inside.

Okay I was feeling bad (physically I'm not too great today) but OMG this got a laugh out of me! I have stories about colonics...my God! It's disturbing to see just how much one can hold in there! And the technician gets kudos for checking out the poop once it's all out.

What a job! But at least she is helping people get back to health!

Matter of fact...I need to schedule one this weekend. Thanks for the poop reminder!

I'm gonna jump in... in this famous discussion... turn

I've been noticing that I have quite some undigested food in my stool... especially vegetables...

It shows up in the same shape I cut them when cooking... (I should chew more too I guess  blush   blush )

I have frequent bowel movement: once, sometimes twice a day, and it (sorry for the description blush ) doesn't float, so the fat I'm eating gets well digested (it wasn't like that a few years ago, before I started to treat the leaky gut, the strep overgrow and the food allergies).

LOL...I could be opoopgirl. I very proudly told the herbalogist today that my digestion is good and I got up close and personal with my poop and even did the beet test. She decided from the beet test that my digestion is a little slow so I'm going to work on that by upping probiotics, vit C and more fruits and veggies.

Tickled, you are right, what comes out mirrors what is going on inside (or in some cases, what does "not" come out).

TheWryter (great name), how lucky you are to have someone to do the colonics.  I always wanted to do that but I live in the boondockies (which I actually love) so for me to find someone to do colonics I would probably have to drive about 2 hours or so.    I am laughing at what you wrote about the technician getting kudos for checking out your poop!   LOL!

MarieLS, good for you for posting about your poop!  Hey, when I was younger I would have been wayyyyy too embarassed to post about my poop.  Anyway, yes, I guess you are probably right about seeing your food (same shape and all) in your poo.  Guess it's the chewing factor!  Hey, be glad you have teeth!  I am going through some serious bone grafting in my upper gum (had it done in my lower gum already) in order to get implants in my gums for teeth...  I do wish when I was sick I had taken better care of my teeth but I really thought I was going to die from the lyme so I didn't give a poop about my teeth and gums.

Opoogirl,  I love that!  And I love the line that you wrote saying that you got up close and personal with your poop, good for you!!

Ok I had to start up the poop discussion again! So I'm pooping a lot but sometimes its loose or runny. I'm glad its all coming out but a little concerned about when its runny. Now I will say I'm deficient in magnesium and increased my intake and added lentils to my diet.

I have a Colonics appt this Friday. It's been weeks but its needed. I feel like my gut needs a restart.

Anyone experience a lot of loose poop or the runs? If so how did you combat it.

I should put in here too that I'm taking more herbs and added a couple of more supplements.

Waiting to hear about poop and you to help me out :-)

I poop 3 to 5 times in the morning. It is not fully formed.......when flushed it disintegrates.

Yes, Tickled, I am eating plenty of fiber most days.  Actually the more fiber I eat the more I go.  I take plenty of probiotics.  I was attributing it to the antibiotics?????

I had terrible problems with very very loose stools when I was on antibiotics.

Green Vibrance....I know here I go again!!!!LOL , was the only thing that got my poop back back to a 4 on the Bristol Stool chart.

I used glutagenics by metagenics.. that made my poop solid again.. Although now I am on the Cholestramine to help bind the toxins and get them out.. and boy.. I must say that I have never had such great solid poops in my life!! lol.

Bump!! This is important information to know - really!! Our intestines expel a lot of toxins - but only if they are working good!! Otherwise those toxins are just reabsorbed. smhair

Thank you for bumping this up again...I now look everyday to see what's going on and I read the blog! I think it's time for colonhydrotherapy ASAP! Or my body is really cleaning itself out!

As you can see, we've had a lot of fun with an uncomfortable subject for many, but there is sooo much really important information in this thread, that it deserves to be brought back to life from time to time!! smilewinkgrin
