My new Bio-mat

I'm lying in bed, on my new mini Bio-mat. I've been here for about 2 hrs. I've had it at its highest temp, then I dropped it down a bit because it felt too hot on my skin--but I'm not sweating--at all! Not even close to breaking a sweat. I feel warm, it's relaxing. But I'm not sweating.
Is it working? It talks a lot about sweating in the pamphlet and how good it is for your body. I guess maybe I should have sprung for the full-size. This wasn't cheap as it is. Also I bought a special Amethyst pillow that is supposed to help with sleep and it is not comfortable in the least. Not sure how this is going to work out. I may need to return it.

Also, I'd love to compare notes, since we both live in Mass. I don't think we're allowed to post our email addresses on here though. You would have to active your little email icon.

Samjones, my understanding of the mat, and the reason I bought it is that it was supposed to do the same thing as an infrared sauna, only you are lying on a mat. You are supposed to sweat and as a result, detox. I didn't break a sweat at all. I was hot and in fact it felt too hot on my skin and I had to turn it down, but I still didn't sweat. It was weird and disappointing. It was nice in that I'm always cold and it definitely warmed me up, but I'm wondering since I bought the mini if it's just not big enough to really heat my body? I could have bought a portable sauna for much cheaper. I may return it. I have 7 days apparently. I'm going to try it again tonight, but I want to kill these bugs. Relaxing is nice and all but it wasn't my reason for buying it! LOL
