I haven't been on much lately. Life has been busy, which is a good thing!

I started Omnicef yesterday, so I was trying to get a lot done before the herxing started.
Last week, I went to volunteer at my son's school, went grocery shopping, took my daughter out to lunch, took my kids out to dinner and the park, and shopped for spring clothes! Between those activities and napping, the days flew by! It was fun getting out having some normal activities to look forward to!

The herxing has already set in from the Omnicef after only 2 doses! Yikes! This is going to be a rough one, but I'm trying to stick it out and see if I can get through it. I want to kill these buggers! Man, it does seem like the herxes would be less by now though, seven months in to treatment, I guess I still have a lot of infection in me.

Congratulations, Mystery! How wonderful that you have been able to get out and about like that! It really feels great, doesn't it? I am still in awe of how wonderful life can feel some days!

I'm so very happy for you!! Keep up the good work and you'll be done with all the treatments soon!

Hey Mystery!!

I start omnicef in 2 days! I haven't been on in in nearly a year. But I am also back on Biaxin, and will be starting plaquinel next week to add to the mix. I felt the herx of my 2nd dose of Biaxin too, but I know beginning that Omnicef will really pack a punch with the herxing. It did last time too.

Congrats on getting out and being able to get life done!!

Congratulations for returning back to the land of the living- albeit perhaps temporarily. Just remember what this is like, and remember that this is what you are aiming for! Keep the goal in mind, and do not lose heart!

Thank you so much everyone for your kind words! The good times when I am functional are sooooo wonderful!!!! Those times are giving me the will to fight this and get better! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

The herxing has set in full force today, OMG! During the good times, it's hard to remember just how horrible it gets. I really want to try to stick it out at the full dose with the Omnicef though; I need to get rid of this bacteria! I've lined up help for this week and hope I can make it. It must really be killing something!

Expect some wining and tears from me over the next couple of weeks, LOL! Just remind me that this will pass please :-) !

That is amazing!!!!! Keep those memories fresh in your head and it will get you past this last part of herxing. Yes I said last because after this you will be healed! I FEEL IT!!!!!

Samjones I'm praying for you too buddy! Let's back into life! It's waiting for us, a little pain first but in the end we will all be better!
