I also want to WELCOME you to the forum. You have come to the right place for encouragement and support. We have a lot of friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable people who want to help you.

If you haven't already, I urge you to read the thread "New to Lyme....Start here?" It has a lot of good information for people having this illness. Especially note the section on detoxing. If you do not effectively detox the kill-off toxins after you start treatment - you will get even more sick and regret it!

Would you be willing to share your story with us?

I live on LI and travel a little over an hour to CT. to see an LLMD. Do you have a car? If interested you can email me by clicking on my profile and I'll give you the info as yours is unavailable.

Not sure if you can "edit" the title of your post (mods??) but you'll get more results if your location is included in your topic title.

If you can't edit, perhaps you could start a new post titled "Looking for LLMD in NYC area".
