Sorry for the gross question---cloudy urine...

Is cloudy urine caused by medications/abx/supplements,vitamins or is it a good sign and it actually the toxins that are leaving the body?

Also, has anyone had success with the detoxifying foot pads or are they just a gimmick?

Hi Katie,

This disease is quite overwhelming! I personally have never had cloudy urine with abx or supplements. Different colors, yes. I do notice if I'm having lady issues (yeast, even some normal discharge) that it can make my urine look cloudy but that doesn't come from my urine - this is pretty rare though for me.

Hi Katie,

Cloudy urine can have many causes...
It's often harmless (caused by not drinking enough water (I sometimes have that when not drinking the amount of water I usually drink), excess crystals in urine), it can also be caused by blatter infections, or malfunctioning of the kidneys.
Do you have any other symptoms that can be related (pain, stinging when urinating, blood in urine, itching?)? If so, you should mention it to your dr...

I have the colored urine too, after taking vitamins or rifampycin.

No experience with the patches...

Not enough water can be a cause.

B vitamins make my urine yellowish.

A bladder infection can cause it. If you have any pain or burning then get this checked!

Other vitamins can cause color change.

We all need to drink lots of water no matter what. Like 3 quarts per day or so...I would up the water if you are not getting much as a start.
