You're on IV doxy, right? I'm sure that's more effective than the orals.
Years ago, when I first was tested and ended up with positive results, my GP at the time put me on 200 mg, twice a day of doxycycline. A couple of months later when I was able to get to see a Lyme doctor, he told me that doxy was not the best choice for a late stage/chronic Lyme patient because it masked symptoms.
I did not feel any better or worse while on doxycycline (except for the stomach issues). Later, I was put on tetracycline but saw no improvement either.
I've had the most success with Biaxin and Plaquenil.
