Weight gain

Can anybody tell me how to get this weight off, tired of looking like shamu the whale !

Have the same thing going on here... I wouldn't lay on the beach right now...

I stopped eating gluten, I almost eat sugar free, my food intake has definitely gone down, but still gaining wait.

My doc claims it's from inflammation of tissue, so is the shortness of breath / airhunger, cause the diaphragm is pushing up towards the lungs.

I sometimes find that hard to believe cause the air hunger is sometimes so bad I want to go to the ER... but it's a good dr, so I try to believe him .

air hunger is a big babesia thing, are you on treatment for that?
ive lost weight usually by doing low carb, but i dont know how fast or slow it will go being on meds.

Congrats on losing those 30 lbs...! Even though it came back, I know you can do it again !

I was 150 before all this lyme crap got started. Now I'm at 180 lbs. And I hate it.... I don't feel like myself at all. But, I'm hopeful that as I continue to heal, I'll see 150 lbs on the scale again someday.

Can someone tell a dumb person like me how to do coffee enemas? Please

Just wanted to post that I was told by my LLMD that if you don't have a gallbladder, you need to be careful with enemas. Apparently coffee enemas are not advised if you don't have a gallbladder. If you don't have a gallbladder, just wanted to put that out there and encourage people to talk with their LLMD if you've got one.

I just wanted to share what my doc and a few other member's have shared over the years about detoxing without a gallbladder. It is an added challenge for me so maybe some of the things that I've done will help you. In my opinion, detoxing is the most important part of this journey. You can kill as much of the lyme as you want but if you can't get the toxins out of you, they get reabsorbed and cause you to get sicker. Hope you find something on this list:

* Sweat - go out and sweat during a walk on a warm day (don't forget to refuel your electrolytes) or use a FIR sauna. That should help move things.
* Take something to get your bowels moving if they aren't moving more then 3 times a day ideally. That is what my three previous docs have always said. There are lots of herbs. Higher doses of vitamin C can temporarily move your bowels. There is a product called Cleanse More that has helped move my bowels.
* Colonics have been super helpful for me. I was doing them 2x a week to get things moving and then regularly flowing. I think it has been the best for me but I realize that often it's hard to find a colonic place in different states.
* Magnesium moves bowels. The detox baths that everyone has talked about should help. It's hard for me as the inflammation that occurs from the warmth of the bath can be painful but you have to take it slowly. Make sure you dry brush before.
* Eat a clean diet. The more bad stuff you put in the worse you will feel with more fatigue, bloating and more weight gain.

I am guessing you've tried a lot of this but I hope if not that you find something here that will help. Good luck and don't focus on the extra weight, focus on improving a reduction of inflammation, fatigue levels and over all healing from you TBD.
