I can't take this anymore. Constant head tingling and disequilibrium. I don;t know what to do. Just venting. This is really depressing me. I used to be a normal healthy person, like everyone else on this board. Now i am an old women for a 55 yr old. I am sure I am not alone.

You are not alone. I have those very problems. Ive only just started treatment and it is already a bumpy road. I am pretty much home bound ;(
It is finally sinking in how long this might take. I wonder if I will even remember what it's like to feel normal when I get there.

I just know I can't give up. It is so hard some days. Just keep fighting. We can beat this horrid disease. You are not alone, hang in there.

heather. you have tingling on top of head off and on through out the day every day? Not many people mention tingling on the head. most people talk tingling of other parts of the body.

Yes though not every day. It seems to come and go with some kind of flare. I had it yesterday and then my upper spine was burning intense pain. I ended up with a migraine and now this morning my whole upper body is sore and "locked" up. Usually I dont get all these at once , just bad luck this time I guess..

Most of the time this happens it feels like the tingling is on the inside..not the surface like with my fingers and toes.

Well here I am, woke up this morning. On those bad nights I wonder if I will sometimes! So that will be my positive for today :')

But my dizzy spells and balance problems are daily. I can't drive right now because of it.

I also experience tingling on top of my head, so annoying. I am on my first week taking herb the tingling is less and less I hope it goes away completely soon :(

My appt . Is this week and can't wait to talk to her about it. This last month has been pure h#@/!!!

Hi Csmm23,

I get a lot of tingling on the scalp too. Not sure if tingling is the right word though. It just feels 'odd'. Kind of a cross between tingling, numbmess, and like I am wearing one of those old-fashined bathing caps or something.

Anyway, you are saying that you are on a herb and it seems to be helping. Can you tell me which herb or herbs you are talking?

Thanks for the responses. Sometimes I wonder if my problem is not lyme because I don't usually hear much about tingling head. I do have 4 ind bands and 2 positive bands. Not cdc positive but lots of symptoms. Tons of tests. All negative. Hope we can all conquer this nightmare soon.

Hi Thrive,

My Naturopath put me on Samento and Banderol, today is the first day I woke up without the tingling or crawling sensation on my head. I know feels odd....before he gives me something specific for for the nerves I have to stay on these two herbs for a month... I think they attack the Lyme first... They are working, I am feeling so much better of course I have some bad days.... I know bads days are normal.

I only have one positive band 58, tons of tests all negatives. I was very confuse because doctors said it wasn't Lyme. I used to wonder all the time if my problem wasn't Lyme...while I was getting worse.

Thank you Csmm! My naturopath has those herbs in her office too! Yay!! I am not on them yet, but I believe she will be placing me on them after spending some time on other herbs that I am currently taking. I look forward to these sensations ending. :)

I've had pins and needles on my scalp and face. One of the weirdest sensations, sort of freaky.

Which brand of banderol did you use and how much. I take cats claw 500 mgs but i have not incorporated banderol yet. I have been on abx but I am off of them now.

Hi aphsicalwreck,

I took NutraMedix Banderol and pulsed it with Cumanda,from the same company.

I worked up to 20 drops,twice a day,but that was my limit,any more and I certainly felt very woozy.

I had 2 weeks of one then 2 weeks of the other for about 8 months.( Plus Samento)

Yes,I did but it cleared up about 4 months into treatment,I must add that it wasn't one of my worst symptoms

Tickled, are you free of symptoms now? Were you just doing naturals or abx as well?

Wreck, I think we should switch from the CC in capsule form to the Samento. Too many people having success with it even if it is controversial on being any better because it's TOA-free. Maybe it's just a better quality product.

I take NutraMedix Banderol, I am trying to work my way up to 10 drops (per my naturopath). I am taking my time with it because every time I take it my mouth gets really dry, it is scary shakehead I hope I am not having an allergic reaction to it.

I am doing well with Samento...how are you doing with cats claw? I tried one drop of cats claw a month ago and it made me herx for couple days.

My cats claw is in capsule form and I am ok taking it but as Toddpaul said....we probably should try Samento.

Do you get any herx from capsules?

I also take Allimed garlic capsules, I notice they also help me with symptoms of tingling on top of head. They are very expensive so I don't know how long I can afford getting them.

Hi Todd,

Symptom free ?

All my neurological ones are gone.

Inflammation is nearly gone.

BUT, I still have very weak muscles from the damage caused by Lyme and Bart,my doctor says it's going to take a very long time to recover most of the functions( if I ever do).

I took Teasle and GSE for 6 weeks,Doxy for 2 months( I thought I was dying) and Banderol/ Cumanda plus Samento for 8 months............currently taking nothing,except for the usual supplements and natural pain relief stuff.

My doctor is convinced that I have no current infection,just the aftermath problems,I'm not convinced ,we will see :-)

Tickled, yes thanks for responding. Glad you're feeling better. I took Doxy and Rifampin for about 3 months with little trouble though I don't have any severe symptoms. A minor herx from Doxy. I'm on an oregano oil called A.D.P. and getting more of a herx than on abx. Strong stuff to say the least.

Csmm, the Allimed costs me $77 plus shipping and I get everything wholesale so I can imagine what you're paying. Good to hear it's helping you.
