I just wanted to say hello. I haven't been on in a while. I've been very busy with, well, "life" :-). My son is home now for summer break so with him and my 2 year old, I'm a busy mom right now.

I've also been feeling better over the past couple of months and so I have been able to be out having fun and traveling some with my family. It's been wonderful! I started Babesia focused treatment at the end of May (Bactrim, Azithromycin, and Malarone) and that seems to be helping me turn the corner. I'm hoping to continue to see further improvement.

I still have severe flares that seem to now be falling into a 4 week pattern (I used to just feel horrible constantly with severe flares every couple of days). So, I'm thinking that now that I've treated bart and started treating babs, I'm having more classic lyme flare cycles. At least, that's what I'm hoping!

Sorry I haven't been on much lately! I do think of all of you and hope everyone is finding their way to healing!

OMG!!! You have been on my mind! So glad you have turned the corner!!!! YAY!!!!! So glad you are active and out with your kids, this is wonderful news!!!!!!

This gives me more hope, I started treating for Bart about a week and a half ago and will start Babs soon and I needed to hear this! Good news Wednesday!

I am soooo happy to read this!!!! Busy with life! This is wonderful news!
It gives me more push to keep going forward. It sounds like you have the
co-infections under control and now it's the Lyme! Your getting there :-)

I saw marked improvement in June, but this past month has been rough.
I started treating Babesia with Mepron and feel like I am in a constant herx. It used to be every 4-7 days, but now? I am hoping the good days come back to visit soon :)

Yay, Mystery!!!! Glad to hear this.

I started Babs treatment 3 1/2 months ago and this has been the first day that I feel decent. I have been having continuous herxes so today has been such a relief. I am on clindamycin, malarone and Interfase Plus (targets the biofilms).

Better days are coming for all of us.

Congratulations, Mystery!! It is such a wonderful thing to go from healing taking up all of your time to having time to live your life!!

I hope that you have continued progress!!

Thank you so much everyone, for being happy for me and wishing me well!

Of course, I still have a long way to go, but when I look back to last summer, I have made a lot of progress. I think that's the key sometimes with this illness. Look back months or a year and see if you've made progress with treatment. On a day to day or week to week basis, it can seem like no progress has been made, which can be so incredibly heartbreaking and discouraging.
