My LLMD put me on two rounds of Tindamax, 3 days on, 4 days off. She had me do the same with Flagyl about
2 months ago, but the herx was so bad we stopped after 1 round.
I expected Tindamax to be similar, but hoping for less of a herx since I've been doing other cyst busters in the meantime.
To my surprise, these 2 rounds of Tindamax have made me feel great! No herx, but great energy and strength, almost as if I didn't have LD.
Any thoughts on what could be happening here? Why no herx? Confused, but enjoying the reprieve.

I too felt and feel much better on tindamax. The only time I have felt a herx has been when I go off and on artesimin. It is a great drug.

I wonder what it means though. I always thought that feeling terrible means a treatment is working.

Thanks! I did have some coinfections, to include several viruses (EBV, HHV6, CMV), Q fever, H pylori, and either babesia or bartonella (not sure which; I was treated for both and seem to be improving, but just going off if symptoms).

I'm starting this in a couple of weeks. Very nervous about
the Herxheimer factors, but this thread made me feel better.

This thread this forum you wonderful people have taught me so much! I just want to say thank you! It has
opened my husbands eyes mind and heart to the symptoms I have without me having to explain every thing which in the beginning is so exhausting in itself. I am still waiting on an infectious disease doctor to see me. . I am in Texas... My knees hurt so bad during the night I was impossible to be still and honey was so kind where before he knew this website he woulda been gruff. Thanks again and God Bless you and heal you.

Christi,
It's not likely that an Infectious Disease doc will give you the right treatment. Would you email me and let's see if we can find you a doctor with the proper training close enough for you to travel to?
Here are some things you should know about
ID docs and their view of Lyme disease:
