After over a year and a half of symptoms I recently tested positive for Lyme Disease. I am working on seeing an Infectious Disease Specialist, but I'm told I really need an LLMD. Does anybody have a recommendation for the central Florida area? I'm in the Cocoa Beach area, so I'm assuming I'll be traveling to Orlando at least, but I'm ready to travel just about anywhere. Thanks!

I'm sorry you are sick, but I'm glad you are diagnosed and will start treatment soon.

What are your symptoms?

Dr. K in orlando is my favorite.

And you don't complain to much, just wait til your complaint list gets so long that you don't know, or can't remember where to start! Lol.

....side note....
I went to Coco once, I ended up robbed and in jail.
Maby the stress of where we live plays a part in our healing?

Ocala is far from peaceful. It use to be, but things change..

Tom,

I've had doctors here tell me that they see an alarming amount of people from my area with wild diseases. Maybe it's because of the military grade housing and buildings? I live near Patrick AFB and Cape Canaveral, and my house along with a lot of this area was built up during the space race in the 50s and 60s. The building I work in is due to be condemned and destroyed as soon as we move out of it... I guess they say it's fine to inhabit until our new building is done.

Im surprised a doctor would tell you that....since they have everything under control! hahaha
