I am not sure that she is correct about
coinfection testing.
I have found that many people test positive for 1 or more coinfections before they get a positive on a lyme test. This can help when doctors keep denying that anything is wrong with you.
The other concern I would have is that there are different treatment protocols for the coinfections. Some also feel that it can be important in treatment decisions in terms of what to treat and when.
Some insurance companies will cover the labs for the testing. Just something to think about.
