After being sick for a few years, I was finally diagnosed with Lyme in the summer of 2012. I didn't fully understand the results of the testing but I know for sure that I tested positive for Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. I was treated with antibiotics for 3 months and an antiviral medication (along with several OTC supplements). When my appointment with the LLMD arrived in February of this year, I was feeling fabulous. I was exercising regularly and had no symptoms of Lyme. He told me to continue what I was doing and that no further treatment was required but to get in touch with him if my symptoms returned. I started a new, highly physical job in May of this year. At this point I stopped my cardio exercise because I was pretty much working out all day at work. My joint returned pretty immediately which I attributed to the heavy lifting I began doing. Now, just three months later, the joint pain is near constant. My PCP ran a lyme test at my annual physical in July and only band 41(IGG) showed reactive so she said we didn't need to do anything. Now, a month later, my joint pain is as bad as it ever was and I'm running a low grade temp (100.5)....not sure if this warrants a call to the LLMD or not. Thoughts?
