I agree with skBM - I will tell you I was taking 100 mgs of doxy 2x/day and japanese knotweed and it was not enough for me personally. It helped, for sure - but did not get rid of my neuro symptoms. I do attribute my healing 'faster' to using herbs and homeopathy but ceftin and biaxin really helped me. I would recommend perhaps consulting an herbalist familiar with lyme if you are so inclined. They tend to be very affordable and mine made some great suggestions. Wobenzyme worked very well as a cyst buster for me, way better then the abx recommended cyst buster and I know b/c I felt it :)
Personally, I did not notice a difference on/off cats claw for me but some have had a positive response to it. I like to test each one by trying them out one at a time and then removing them. Typically I either had a herx initially to an herb OR when I went off after a day or two I would notice a strong negative difference, add the herb I removed back in and those negative symptoms went away.
I might recommend teasel as a lot of folks on here seem to use it. And Eleuthrococcus senticus is supposed to be good as well and the taste is light so I got the cut and sifted kind in a tea so I can use it that way if so inclined.
