Hi Everyone,

I've been meaning to check in for awhile to let everyone know healing is possible!
After about a year without a diagnosis - and being a complete train wreck the ABX and herbs are working; it's been 5 months. I'm getting my life back and starting to teach more yoga classes so I can start making a dent in these darn medical bills and pay for supplements and expensive antibiotics!!

Don't get me wrong I still have days of being completely *&*$&A@ off at this whole thing - with a lot of fear, but those are few and far between now. Most of the anxiety from the Bart has subsided and I've weaned myself off the Clonipin (for the most part).

Symptoms are subsiding. The insomnia and "speedy" dreams are my main remaining symptoms. Does this go away in time? Please say yes!

My dr. prescribed The Fisher Wallace Cranial Stimulator Device, which works for chronic pain, anxiety, depression and insomnia. I have no chronic pain and not much anxiety. I'm going to try it for insomnia and of course depression so I can start to wean off the antidepressant. It's FDA approved and has a 60-day $ back guarantee. Mine has been ordered and on it's way. Will report back as to it's efficacy. The unit is $700 and some insurances might pay for some of it since it's FDA approved (not mine).

Anyway, would love to hear other stories of symptoms disappearing!

Has anyone taken the i-spot Lyme test? My dr. had me take it this week. Results will be back in 2 more weeks. Apparently it's a good gauge of remaining infection.

Thank you for posting about your success. It is so good to read about people getting better, getting their lives back. Glad to hear the Bart anxiety is going away. I'm almost 3 months into treatment and am only now feeling some of it subside.

Hi Sarah!

I'm so glad to hear you are doing well. I became sick around the same time as you and am also doing well! Did abx, herbals, and homeopathy. A pretty strict diet but am doing good. Off abx for the second time, 3 weeks in and doing okay. I think I have decided healing hurts almost as much as herxing. I am still getting fevers and 'off' feelings every now and then but I can't complain too much.

Also, getting back to life - actually went to a concert to see an artist that I've been wanting to see for years. It was great, and it is great to have my life start coming back. I still have a bit of fear left in me but I don't feel as helpless as I did before and know that I have a variety of options now to heal/treat.

That's good to hear you're getting your life back. I hope it continues to improve.

I haven't heard of that therapy you mentioned. I'll be waiting for your report on what more it does for you. Keep on healing!

I just looked up the device you ordered and I wonder if it's basically the same as the frequency machines, which has settings for many ailments. It's cheaper than the machines, but just doesn't have as many treatment choices. You probably don't need more treatment options since you've improved, but someone else may. Just a thought. I hope it helps!

What types of antibiotics have you guys taken to get back on your feet? The doxycycline has done nothing for me as many people have warned me so I'm trying to find one that works better and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I have found Flaygl is doing wonders for me but I can only do small amts for short periods of time. Hope that helps!

Binduspire-- hang in there sweetie. the anxiety will subside. getting my yoga practice back has been a huge help to build the gap in improving my emotional well being, as I heal. Have you heard of yoga glow? It's in inexpensive website where you can join on a monthly basis and chose any style of yoga practice. I was too anxious to practice yoga much less breathe for about the first 5 months of treatment. Maybe try it for sone gentle movement and breathing exercises.

Opugirl!! So glad you're doing well also and that you are getting your life back. The emotional part of this is so challenging and I agree it's a mind bender to start up with routine life again. Staying busy is helping me. What are your tricks/advice to accepting all of this?!

garden peace-- thank you! That device is really similar to the rife machine from what I understand, as it works with frequency. Will update everyone. Hope it helps me sleep...

NJ Lymee-- I took omniceft, minocycline and pulsed on tindimax (2 weeks on two weeks off)-- it's a cyst buster- was hard to tolerate as it made me super tired, which made me really depressed. My dr just prescribed factive for the Bart and I broke out in head to toe hives/welts more like. will try it again in a few days as its supposed to work like the "a-bomb" on Bart

Also took Mediterranean olive oil and Olive Leaf Extract for the 1st few months. A little Banderol and cumunda (herbs) and a-Bart-- hard to tell what worked but something did!! Next ill be on doxy (if the Factive gives me the same allergic reaction) and penicillin deep muscular shots (daily) yikes for 2 months!! Hope you find a good mix for you... Keep at it. Sarah this is wonderful news! I love coming on here and reading GOOD news! I need it. I feel like Beth...healing hurts almost as much as herxing...sigh.

I'm down to the final 10 symptoms and they aren't playing nice, but I do know I'm healing. My mother always told me healing hurts but the outcome is great! It's a new start and when we look back it will only be to help others to let them know that healing does work.

I'm so so so happy for you! Great news about the anxiety subsiding...what were the signs for you that it was time to taper and your anxiety was going away.

Keep the good news coming and I too am interested to learn about the machine you're getting.

Hello Everyone,
I'm new to this, I have been reading these posts for over couple of months now and I thought that it's about time I share my story with everyone to let others know that there's hope and they're not alone, just like you did for me!

I too have similar story, became very ill Oct.2012, had my world turned upside down to March 2013. I tried the conventional medical system but after they checked me inside out but with no evidence of any illness except my symptoms that only I could feel and see. ND helped quiet bit but the symptoms didn't go away. Igenix test done in March confirmed Lyme. Saw LLD in June 2013, started abx and still on them along with some natural remedies. I have Bart and Babesia.
Most of my symptoms have disappeared but few remain, I am now able to enjoy things like I used to. Last week, I ran 5.5km, a first since I got sick. I used to run 6-7 km everyday.
I still have numbness in hands and left foot (sometimes) and red lines, like chicken wire on my thighs. Does anyone else have these symptoms?

I am grateful to all of the posters out there who shared their stories and make me feel that I'm not crazy or alone and I encourage others to join the posts and share their story, it really helps.

Hi Kamy! Congats that you're feeling better! It really is good for us all to read about positive outcomes. There is too much doom and gloom- All I wanted was so light, a glimmer of hope on the forum.

I think it would be helpful if you started a new post, titled I'm Feeling Better! Or something like that.

I never had the traditional stretch looking marks associated with Bart but some odd marks on my face that look like a fingernail indentation.

So glad your 5.5 k. Thats awesome girl!!

Your story might help someone-- that was my intention for posting...

Did you get the Fisher Wallace device yet and had any positive results yet?

It's 5:00 am and haven't slept a wink and going out of my mind with anxiety.My ambien didn't come in mail today and this is my first time w/o it in a couple of years.

Positive thinking, etc has done no good. I think this is the bart that's doing this. Or maybe a forced cold turkey from ambien. But I rarely ever get sleepy but am so fatigued

Makes me really want to get off of ambien asap since I feel way too dependent.

Hope to hear it's working for you..
