I have been diagnosed with Lyme. I have done the 30 days of oral ABX. No luck. No idea when I got lyme! Took almost a year to diagnose. Went through the normal MS, your depressed, blah blah blah! I am seeing an ID doc. Just not real sure about all of this! Being a nurse I am second guessing everything!!!!!!!! Now they want to do a sleep study! I am fed up with testing!

hi I am a nurse too and I have lyme. you can email me. i have two doctors I can recommend in the area that are lyme literate doctors. I live in the the memphis area. I saw an infectious disease doctor too and was told I did not have it.

I'm just outside of Memphis and I am currently seeing a LLMD close by. I would love to hear if anyone is seeing a diff LLMD in the are...

I do have the contact info for a few different docs in Tenn. If you are interested in these, please email me. You can either click on my screen name (Traveler) on the left, or click on the small blue envelope under my name. Please be sure to include your screen name and where you are looking for a LLMD.

To enable your own email so that you can share information with others, or vice versa, go to your profile - blue button at the top of the page right beside Log on/off button - go to 'edit profile' and scroll down a bit. You will see "show my email" - be sure to choose that option, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the submit button to save your preferences.

My 16 yr old daughter has chronic Lyme. We have seen a LLMD in MS but I want info in other docs. Her current one has a wonderful manner and did blood tests, etc., but is very hard to get in touch with and refuses to address the neuro symptoms - the most debilitating of all her issues. Please help w options.

Welcome to our community!! I'm really sorry that your daughter is ill.

If you haven't already, it would be helpful for you to start with reading through the thread at the top of the forum titled,"New to Lyme?...Start here!!" - even though you aren't exactly "new" to Lyme - as it is packed full of important information, symptom lists (as Lyme rarely occurs by itself), helpful links and pdf's, how to detox when one has these infections, and a list of questions that you can ask any doctor that you are seeking treatment from!

You will need to enable your email option in your profile in order to receive any recommendations, as we don't allow doctor's names and contact info to be posted on the forum for several reasons. You can enable your email option in your profile, under 'edit profile'. Be sure to click the submit button to actually save your preference.

The only one around Memphis or Little Rock is tunica not taking patients, I highly recommend you go to my llmd in Missouri he is in Ashland mo treated over 12k patients 97 percent success rate. He treats als patients caused by Lyme so that is why not 100 percent. You have choice of it or pills etc, Girlie can give you info on him she has the list. Initials cc

I'm close to Memphis and donjr is right. There are natural practitioners but it seems like they cost a lot
