My test results are from Igenex.
However, the reason that I am suspicious is that my results came back CDC and Igenex negative, albeit with some positive bands. I have never been treated for lyme and never noticed a tick bite. My only psoitive result was from PCR testing and PCR testing is known to have false positives. Here are some quotes:
"PCR assays detect DNA from dead or living organisms, do not demonstrate the presence of living organisms, and are prone to false positive results."
"PCR positivity in seronegative patients suspected of having late manifestations of LB [Lyme Disease] most likely represents a false-positive result."
Therefore, I am not convinced by my tests, even though my LLMD is. I understand he has a financial stake in seeing as many people test positive for Lyme as he can. I would need unequivocal proof before I would start antibiotic treatment. Antibiotics are very bad for your gut flora, and can cause irreversible damage to your health, especially if taken long term.
Unfortunately, there seems to be no test that is universally accepted and unequivocal in the case of (possible) long term Lyme disease. I'm not sure what to do.
