Newbie to Lymes

Hi Everyone!

I'm new to the forum...I've been creeping on here for a few months now. I was finally dx with Lyme 2 weeks ago, and several dr.s later. Just want to say thank you for all of the awesome info I've gotten here. I've self treated with antibiotics since Oct. (my llmd has upped my anitibiotics) and am using other things like probiotics, vitamins, lemon water, epsom salt baths etc etc. So keep up the great work everyone. I really appreciate it and am glad not to be alone in this.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Lets see...I've been bitten by the tick 3 times in the last 2 years. All with the bullseye rash so not sure which bite has kicked my butt. I've started feeling the "pain" in early July. It started with my knee. I have a hx of knee surgeries so I thought it was just that again. The pain went to my right hip then left. Again, I thought it was all knee related. When I woke one morning with shoulder pain I thought I just slept wrong. Once it hit my left shoulder I knew! Duh! Took me a while to figure that out. Dr. after Dr. told me it wasn't lyme disease. One Dr. told me it was age related. Wanted to slap him!!!! That child Dr. insulted me and acted as if I was 87 instead of 47. Anyway, after coming here I found a new Dr. and am starting, hopefully, on the right path of recovery.
