Hi soscared,
Yes, it gets better! I have struggled with depression, anxiety and panic because of this disease and it has gradually become a minor problem -- it only just came back because I have a little relapse. In fact, having the anxiety come back was the clue that I needed to change up my medication!
And I know it's hard when you are feeling like this because the best thing would be to have contact with other people but you really don't feel like you can cope with them. When I was in a bad way, I would reach out by telephone (easier to deal with than a face-to-face), to friends and family. Even if you are not particularly close to a person but they have experience with depression and anxiety, you can call them to "talk you down". They'll understand and be glad to help.
The Lyme/Babs cycle is unrelenting, isn't it? But you can see you are making progress, I hope. The die-off is part of it, so de-toxing can help. And the nature of Babesia is that your spleen gets overcrowded with infected blood cells so that you become anemic. Iron supplements and B complex sometimes help me. And rest!
I think it helps to keep a brief journal of how you are feeling. There will come a day when your worst day is still better than your previous best day!
Try some gentle yoga with lots of restorative breathing. It really does help, though I know you probably just want to curl up into fetal position!
Warm baths and aromatherapy are good, too. A nice cup of tea -- it's not a cure but it all helps. Spoil yourself a little.
I know you will feel better soon!
