It is better to spread it out. My herbalist tried to get me to take Vitamin C to bowel tolerance. You can google what that means.lol. I never tried it but I figured a good dose for me was 8,000-10,000 mg/day. And it didn't make me poop so...
Other good sources of vitamin C aside from the pills that I know of are kiwi fruit and rose hips.
If you are taking high doses it is good to get a buffered vitamin C which is easier on the kidneys.
