I tried the master cleanse. I felt a lot better after than and have been trying to eat healthier since. In nearly a month I have had almost no grains, dairy, refined sugars, and meats other than fish. Once I stopped the master cleanse and started eating I noticed starting to feel off again. It has been increasing. I am unsure it I am still putting something into my body that it doesn't like, or if I am hexing. The past few days have just been getting worse and worse. A few days this week I noticed not feeling horrible after I woke up but about
an hour or so later, after I had taken my herbal treatments and eaten breakfast I would get hit with a bad wave of symptoms. usually I feel better later in the day but yesterday for the most part the whole day was rough and this morning I woke up feeling pretty bad. This morning I didn't take my newest herbal medication on the off chance that was what was bothering me. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I had hopped that after a month with no gluten and dairy I would feel at least a tiny fraction better, not so much worse.

You have to be careful with fish since so many have mercury and other toxins. Why don't you eat other meats? There are healthy meat animals, raised on a species appropriate diet without added hormones or antibiotics. I wouldn't be able to just eat fish. Do you eat plenty of vegetables and include leafy greens? What herbals are you taking and are you taking anything else? You could be herxing from them and if you aren't detoxing, that could make you feel worse as time goes on. I hope you can figure out what problem is and start feeling better.

This is the diet that has helped me: Mostly GAPS (and also from "Nourishing Traditions" cookbook). Bone broths, juiced veggies and fruit first thing in the a.m., many fermented foods (with meals as often as possible), egg yolks, avocado, veggies with every meal, ground nuts and nut butters, no grains, potatoes, or mucilaginous foods. No dairy, gluten, soy, or sugar. Honey only (as sweetener).
Unlike what GAPS protocol suggests, I do skim the fat off of soups, broths, etc.
I drink cinnamon, fennel, and dandelion tea, and I put loose dandelion tea in my smoothies.
It seems to be helping, but you might feel a little worse before you feel better. I take that back; it definitely helps.

Garden, I dont eat meat right now because it doesn't really interest me. I will probably go back to it at some point but at this time I am more than happy to leave it out of my diet. Before I did eat meat and I disliked fish except for the occasional can or tune. But then I went on the master cleanse and after that the only thing I craved was fish. I eat a lot of veggies. The Herbal treatments I take are Tox- ease, Bab 2, and Bar 1. But i am taking a break from the bar 1 to see if that makes any difference. I have never had much trouble with herxing so if thats what this is it is kind of new for me.
teragram, the diet you are on seems kind of similar to what I am doing but a little more restrictive. I might consider something like that down the line but i am hoping that some how this will turn around for me it is just funny to me that I felt better when I was eating an unhealthy diet.

Maybe your body just went into shock.
Hopefully you'll get it figured out.
