Im finding it really hard to deal with the deression and exhaustion. Im a full time student and I still work part time. I wish I could just skip it all and lay in bed and hide under the covers all day. Its hard because as soon as I feel ok enough to talk to someone about it, they usually try to tell me how they are tired and sad a lot too. But they couldnt possibly understand how it is. Lyme is so hard.

I was thinking about how you said you wanted to feel at least 50% ok. I cant even remember a time in the past 4 or 5 years when I felt healthy at all. I know that a lot of people here have it worse than do and have had it longer and I cant imagine how hard that must be. I cant believe that this is what my life has become. I would like to know what it feels like to have one day of good health. If only I had a genie to grant me a few wishes....

I hear you, I have been ill since I was 9 yrs old at least with serious lyme symptoms. I am now 37..... So I definitely get it. A "good" day to me is being able to get groceries or maybe cook dinner for my 6 kids who likely also have lyme. Do you know when you got it? How long have you been getting tx? I was misdiagnosed my entire life, I am sooo angry. I just can't help,it and I get bad rage that scares me at times. From "panic attacks" to ulnar neuritis, SVT and PVCs I feel real scared and mad. I am sorry you feel so awful, I honestly don't know how I made it through nursing school.

CFS and Fibromyalgia dx. Horrible forgetfulness. Trouble with impulse control. Moments of amnesia (couldn't remember what I did day before). Inability to read anymore (me, with almost Ph.D.!). Slurred speech. Tics and jerks. Very slow speech, couldn't get words out. Fender benders. Falling. Bumping into walls. Wetting the bed. Inability to speak (or speaking only in a whisper) when over tired. Getting fired from work. Fatigue so overwhelming I had to brush teeth sitting down.

All this triggered massive internet search, and remembered many tick bites and engorged ticks.

I do the whispering and brushing teeth sitting too! I went to my kids play two days in a row and didn't recall major parts!
