Short and simple So last week started burning after I peed ignored it for a few days went to the doctor got a culture test for yeast or a uti they put me on Cipro for 5 days while they waited for the results it got better went away but two days after I finished meds came back but urine sample was negative for everything took another test still negative but I'm still in pain hurts after I pee feels like I always have to pee...

The main at home treatments are drinking lots of water, CRANBERRY JUICE (works great), heating pad and vitamin c.

The thing is my uti test keep comming up negative so why take more antibiotics if I don't need too

Try the cranberry juice. I believe they have supplements as well.

One of the things Lyme can cause is Interstitial Cystitis - an inflammation in those parts.

The good news is that it usually resolves with Lyme treatments. I would still suggest that you bring this up with your doctor -especially if it gets any worse.

Don't mean to put this out there, and you've probably already checked, but if it's not bladder, or UTI, it could be a more intimately spread infection...

It's Lyme/Bart. I've had burning upon urination forever (around 17 years) and had my first tick bite a few years prior. No UTI, no STD's. Drink lots of water.

There's a homeopathic remedy called "Cantharis" that is a common one for UTIs. I had chronic UTIs the first time I was sick and that remedy put an end to my infections. That was a long time ago. 30c twice a day should work. It won't work on every woman, especially older women, but it does work for many.

Cranberry juice has to be sugar free to work. There's a derivative from cranberries that are better yet, but I don't recall the name right now. I'll post it when I do, if someone else doesn't chime in first. I woke up at 4 this morning, so my brain is fuzzy.

Oh, gosh. I am so sorry. I know that feeling so well and it is so, so uncomfortable. I was put on Cipro too for it at times. This is before I knew I had Lyme, Bart and Babesia. Anyways, it is all gone now that the Bart is gone. I also took Soloray Kidney Blend for almost a year to deal with it. It really helps to clean out the kidney (the bladder, urinary tract) so that may be something to consider too. For the Bart I took HH2 by Zhang/Hepapro and the Buhner Herbs (Cat's Claw, Andrographis,Resveratrol) in a formula called LB by Green Dragon Botanicals. Trust me, I felt really, really terrible and a lot worse the first month or two and by month 7 it was gone. It just took my body a little time to clear the toxins from it.

Anyways, I feel your pain and I am so sorry you are having that symptom. Maybe in the short term get a little more Cipro? Heck, if we lived in Mexico they sell the stuff over the counter! PS - Cipro is also used to treat Bart interestingly enough.

I agree with SLML that it's most likely Bart causing this. The key is to treat very aggressively meaning tons of herbs like I'm doing on the Synergy Protocol or abx mixed with Bart-killing herbs. The protocol I'm on has brought out Bart symptoms I never had before and has intensified others so it must be hitting it.

Cipro might work but only after months of taking it thus putting yourself at risk of permanent damage the quinolones like Levaquin are so known for doing.

That's what my doctor and "LLMD" said they also said I don't have a uti but who knows ugh

I believe uti was one of my initial symptoms and quite painful if I remember correctly. This was how it all started for me and went downhill from there.
