So, my Babesia duncani titer has doubled, and my eosinophil cationic prot. levels have quadrupled. Doc and naturopath say that's a good sign--that the Arteminisin and cryptolepsis have kicked the parasites down enough that my body has begun to fight them again. Now I'm supposed to start taking malarone and Azithro, but the insurance co. is giving me a hard time about the malarone. It's something like $1000 out of pocket, $40 if it's approved. How can they deny coverage? Even the CDC has a page specifying malarone and Azithro as one of two preferred treatments for Babesia. And I have THREE blood tests showing positive titers--the most recent one showing the antibody levels doubling. I don't see how they can possibly deny coverage? Any suggestions to speed this up? I want to start kicking these bugs' butts in earnest asap.
