Hello!
I woke up this morning and am in pain. My stomach feels very acid like. If i push on my stomach a couple inches above my belly button it hurts and i keep getting shooting pains under my right breast.
My stomach is doing a lot of gurggling too.
I don't feel nauseas or anything and i still have an appetite.
It doesnt hurt enough to go to the ER right now and my LLmD is off for another week.
Is it okay to lay off my meds over the weekend?
I am drinking lemon water with liquid milk thistle and just lots of water to begin with.
I did eat really bad greasy food all day yesterday since i was at a concert and there was nothing healthy to eat.
I would appreciate any comments or experiences with this type of pain.
Thanks!

Sounds like it the greasy bad food you ate, especially if you eat a really clean diet. Your body is mad you put the junk in it. Hope you feel better soon.

Can you eat some leafy greens today to help detox?
If you're not feeling better by tomorrow, you should probably call your doctor.
Hope you're feeling better soon!

What kind of meds are you on? I did not think it was OK to do milk thistle with abx but I may be wrong.

as lymebabe asked - what meds are you on? I wouldn't stop them especially if you have been on them for a while - but its your call
this is just an educated guess, but the stomach pain can be due to indigestion, and the pain under your breasts sounds like gas. can you get some gas x? its very safe to take. and try some ginger ale or seltzer water to calm your stomach. I hope this passes for you soon!

I'd think the greasy food could be the problem too, at least for part of it. Hopefully it will calm down today.

Well I stopped all my meds for now. It's definitely my gallbladder. The pain has subsided quite a bit but it still present. I've had problems with my gallbladder even before Lyme...it runs in my family. Almost every single woman has had to have theirs out.
I'm trying to heal it naturally though because I DON'T want to get it out.
I don't know anything about
milk thistle being taken with abx since my LLMD is useless and doesn't help me with anything. But I did have a volunteer from a group affiliated with ILADS call me and she said her LLMD would check her blood levels and if her liver levels were high, she would just say "up your milk thistle!". She was on abx at the same time so who knows.

HMMMM I am so sorry you don't have a good doctor! I posted how to do the oil pack in the other thread. Also, look into doing an enema with wheat grass juice. They say it is excellent for liver and has exactly zero side effects other than a burst of energy. I have not done that one yet but it is on my list of things to try. Also quickly flipping through my Jernigan book there is a section on liver. Too much involved for me right now but something to think about
. I want to do it too since my liver has been hurting from all the antibiotics I have taken. Also, since I started doing colonics my liver has calmed down. There was a ton of gas trapped around it and was pushing against it causing pain. Good luck! Hope you can find a better doctor!

Thanks Lymebabe for all the info.
I just finished Jernigan's book over the weekend. I'm trying to decide what products to buy though!
I am VERY scared of enemas. I can't imagine doing one but at this point, I'm going to try it because I want to get better!
My mother in law has all the materials (never used lol) so I just need the wheat grass and I want to try the coffee enemas.
I still cannot imagine doing it though...lol

Can you tell me what your liver pain is like. I have constant 24/7 abdominal pain and wonder if it is my liver or not. Anybody chiming in on this would be greatly appreciated.

I think your liver is like at the bottom of your right rib cage, underneath it. I know that's where my LLMD pushes on when he is checking it out at appointments.

My abdomen under my right rib cage felt swollen. When I pushed in on it, it hurt like heck.
Now remember, I don't know for sure if this was my liver. But I've had gallbladder pain/attacks before and that pain was different.
I felt this higher up under my right rib cage. My stomach also feels very acidic.
I figure if I'm not turning yellow though, maybe I'm okay? lol
