I'm glad to have the first round of testing completed for the time being. I thought I was going to need a blood transfusion after visiting the lab. Now the wait begins for all the results to be returned to my LLMD. I will see him the end of April. I've started B12 injections, Folinic Acid, & Pro Bio-Defence, this has made a world of difference already. I still have bad days but not everyday. I've seen some of the test results but not many. It appear I have Candida, am in need of B5, B6, & vitamin C supplements although I've not been diagnosed yet. This is just my observation of the results so far. Looking forward to getting all the results and on the right road to recovery. Thanks to all of you on this site it has made my journey much easier & I know I'm not alone.

Glad to hear that you have an LLMD AND that you are seeing some difference with the supplements! *happy dance* I recently read that yeasts/candida love B vitamins, but most of us are deficient in B's. For me, kefir/yougurt really helped keep my yeast in check. Also taking probiotics.

Let us know how the drs appointment goes!

Next appt is April 24 unless they have a cancellation then maybe earlier but I doubt it. Just looking forward to confirmation on what all I have.

Does you LLMD have you on antibiotic already?

No, he wanted to see what other co-infections I may have first before doing any further treatment. I didn't have any confirmed diagnoses prior to seeing him so he ordered what seemed like every test imaginable for all possibilities. He said once we find out the results we will go from there. I know some may question this but I do trust him and his treatment regimen.

what lab are you using? I am going on Monday to see an LLMD and I'm curious. I keep reading about Igenex (spelling?) and I'm not sure if that's the only good lab around.

It's good to have trust in your doctor. Since it's said that some co-infections need to be treated before Lyme, it makes sense to wait. I'm glad you're feeling better from what you are taking now. B12 can help a lot. I hope he will choose the right treatments for you so you can move ahead more. I wish you the best.

Thanks Garden Peace, I have all the faith in him that he will lead me in the right direction.

Leilex, Igenex lab for Lyme testing for all the different bands & I had an organic acid test (urine sample sent in) done by The Great Plains Laboratory, Inc out of Kansas. I also had 18 tubes of blood drawn at my local lab along with another urine test. I hope your dr uses these labs. According to my LLMD they are the best to use. Good luck with your appt

Almost forgot I also had a strep test at my local lab. Like I mentioned my LLMD had me tested for a lot of stuff.
