My daughter could not walk 5.5 years ago. Tomorrow she will be traveling with her college swim team to compete in their conference meet at the University of Tennessee. Heather will be a threat to place very high in her events at the meet.
Recently a physician said that her health status probably falls within the top 1% of the population. Not bad considering what she was for several years.
My understanding of the concepts of "cure" and "remission" have changed over the last few years. I now measure any treatment outcome in terms of wellness and possessing the liberty to chase dreams. I believe that the pathogens are only one factor among several that must be addressed for a "cure". Many healthy people test positive for pathogens, yet are healthy, vital, and productive in life. Do they need a cure?
I'm sorry to muddy the waters here. I know that what you are really asking is if anybody on this forum ever becomes well again. The answer is YESSSS!!!! There have been many.
Anonymous- I wish you the best in your journey.
