Lyme disease C6 peptide by ELISA

is there a number next to it? or does it just say "positive"? I know what it is, but I don't know how to explain it, but when this comes out positive, they do further testing.
are there any band numbers listed anywhere on the labs?

This means that your ELISA test is indeed positive. The c6 peptide Elisa test is highly specific for the Lyme Bacteria, B. burgdorferi. When this happens, they do a Western Blot test - this is what you need to be looking at. What lab did you get the results from? There should be a paragraph under that starting with "Lyme Western Blot (or WB) Serum" - you need to see what that says. That is the true lyme test and will list the antibiodies (bands) that you have.

For the Lyme disease Western blot (IgM/IgG)..it says IgMCDC neg,IgMalt Neg,IgGCDC Neg,IgGalt Neg. Then under reference/units.comments it says ivm: no bands present. Igc: 41. See attached report. I went to a LLMD and used mdlabs in Hamilton, NJ. I currently am taking Doxy and Tindidazole. I took the Doxy for 3 weeks and now (today i started the Tindidazole. I appreciate your help.

IgG: 41 is what it says i don't know.

I used quest diagnostics in Va and NJ Focus diagnostics in CA

My doxy dose is 200mg and my Tindidazole is 250 mg.

I have an MRI tomorrow.

I hope I helped a little, I know you are mystified, but as I said, many members test positive for only one band sometimes. Reading this link may help too. My LLMD diagnosed me based on my symptoms, before my labs even came back. Its a clinical diagnosis in most cases. well, it should be anyway, but too many doctors rely on these tests, which are not completely accurate.
