Hi All,
As many who have been here a while may have noticed, I haven't been on the forum as much as I used to be. Since healing, my life has gotten quite busy. Helping my Mom move, starting a brand, spanking new Lyme support/information group in my area, gardening, and life with adult kids and grandkids have all been wonderful additions to my life.

While I won't completely step down (& my email address will remain active), I will step back from the forum so that I have more time to spend doing all those things I couldn't do for years. I wanted to wish each of you well though - and to thank you, for you all have been my family, my support system and my instructors for many years now! I wouldn't have made it through this time in my life without you!

There are some really wonderful Moderators here that I would like to publicly wish a special thank you to as well. I have worked closely with you and have loved the friendship and working relationship we have had. You are truly wonderful, giving people!!! :-)

I not only wish everyone who reads this post healing, but a wonderful life afterwards! Know that it is there, we just have to find it!!

May all of your healing paths be smooth!

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU!!! You are awesome and thank you for being a great friend and guide through this storm called Lyme.

When I get all better your state is on the list of places to visit!!!!! I wish you well with life, you deserve to live hard and have fun!!!!

I've not been a member of this site very long but I have gotten a lot of valuable info from you Traveler. I'm just beginning my healing journey an can only dream about feeling better. I'm so happy that you are better and can do things you've not been able to do in the past. Best wishes and hope for the very best of health for you. Thanks for all of your help in getting me started on the right path to healing.

I feel like I know you after reading through so many generous, thoughtful posts you've shared. I am selfishly sad because I am just starting out in my treatment and was looking forward to picking your brain clean for advice. ;) But your news is inspiring - so happy that your journey has graduated to such an awesome stage in your life and I'm sure it gives us all hope.

Please continue to check in on occasion and let us know how your program is going!

Good for you, starting up a support group! I forgot to mention that before. They will be lucky to have you since you know about conventional and alternative treatments. One I went to here for a short time just focused on abx. The one I go to now is pretty open minded and the leader does a great job, but does too much. He has a collection of books that he brings for people to borrow and that has been helpful to many. He has us write down which book and when we borrowed it. Maybe some people on here would donate some books they no longer use.

Thank you for your support over the last few months I have been here, you deserve your time now. Let's hope that 1 by 1 we will all reach that point to do all the lovely things you have planned in the future.

Hello Traveller,

You have graced us with amazing experience and given us a hope of a new life guided by our recovery. Even more proof that people move on from their recovery of Lyme and onto other activities.

Could you please if possible mention some of the key herbs that have got you so well? I know I read your story and you just said it's too complex to mention them all. But perhaps there are a few you remember?

Thank you for sharing your wisdom, lending us what little energy you had while sick, and for being a kind soul. I think that this illness changes us all for the better, and as such, the world has gained a new and sweeter Traveler. Whatever you do going forward, you have earned your right to have fun.

I hope that one day you get that bath tub that you have always wanted so you don't have to carry a bucket into your bathroom to take a bath.

And if one day you should find yourself bored and with nothing to do, drop by and say hello to your old friends. We will always save a spot your you at this table.

I have literally thanked God for bringing you to this forum. And now I thank God for you reaching the next stage in your life.

Awwww, MAN! Here you go again! I'll miss you again, but your reasons are inspiring still! I'm so glad to see that Lyme can become past tense! I hope you have so much fun in your reclaimed time. I'll think of you every time I check in on the site. I'm off to  work in a short while and was going to wait a few days to check any posts except the kid's eyes one, but I saw yours and had to drop in to say Bye!

Have a wonderful time enjoying the good life.  Know that you have made an immeasurable difference in my, and my son's life. Blessed be.

blush Awww, Golly gee shucks, everyone!!! blush I am truly humbled and overwhelmed with your responses. I just wanted to be here to share information and to help reassure those that need it that healing is out there - no matter how long you may have been infected.

I'm sitting here with tears running down my cheeks! Thank you all so very much!! What a huge blessing to have been able to call you all friends!

Believe it or not, I will miss each and every one of you!! Our serious discussions and our goofy times too! You all have been part of my family - some for a long time and some for only a short time, but I have learned something from each of you - so thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart, for teaching me, understanding me, forgiving me when I got too goofy or was out of the loop, and most of all for laughing with me! :-) There are many here that I'll just never forget!

And don't worry - this forum has been my 'home' and hasn't been able to get rid of me for the last 7 years smilewinkgrin I'll check in from time to time.....after I'm done gallivanting around for a couple of weeks! wink Giggle!! turn
