I'm probably the one you're referring to about
homeopathy. I've used it for over 20 years now, doing classical homeopathy which takes the totality of your symptoms to choose the remedy, rather than just one issue only. The substances they're made from are highly diluted. The higher the dilution, the more powerful the remedy. It's more likely some herbals could antidote or slow down the work of the homeopathic medicine, rather than the homeopathics causing an adverse reaction with the herbs. The mint family is the worst to use with it since it will antidote the remedy itself and some of the work it has done on you, depending on how much time has passed since the remedy was taken.
I gave this link in another post, but I'll give it again.
nationalcenterforhomeopathy.org/ .It's a good place to learn and right now they're giving away free memberships. I was thinking of becoming a member again so I could get their magazine since I learn so much from it, so I signed up with them again. I probably won't win, but worth a try.
