Hey guys, I just tried some cannabis ( and I'm not shamed of using it )... and a very low dose of xanax.. since I was having stress through the roof.... I have to say, I have never felt so much pain relief in my life, and all my muscle twitches are gone... The only bad part is I'm kind of high, not a bad thing really, but I don't want the high effect, I just want to get the pain relief side of the plant..

Anybody else try this at all? I really really think this should be legal everywhere... There so many medical qualities to this.. It's a very safe substance when vaped or in food form...

What do you guys think?

I have never had so much pain relief.. My back pain is totally gone.

It works great, you can get low the high CBC strains which are tops. :) I can't smoke it but I ingest it sometimes, I'm in so much pain all the time!!!! I will add I have a high pain tolerance I had natural child births but chronic pain is different.

I think I would have loved to try it when I was ill...however it is not legal in my state. Many seem to have tried and wanted to stick with it but without the 'high' feeling. I think some of the states where they are pretty liberal with medical cannabis, you have a lot more options and some folks I think were talking about cannabis oil for that reason?

Regardless, I haven't tried so I can't really say - however I am super happy that your back pain is gone, that is awesome!

I used to smoke cannabis everyday before I fell ill, now I can't even tolerate the smell of people smoking it at a distance (n) I must have a high intolerance to any sort of chemicals because it's the same with any alcohol, aftershaves, hairspray etc. booo!!

I used to like using cannabis and used it for years on and off recreationally and liked the high it would bring. But now after catching lyme I was so incredibly impaired by the lyme that I just want a clear mind now! I treated so long for this and have really grown to appreciate a clear mind now.

Ya you can get high CBD low THC strains in cannabis liberal states and I think that could help tremendously. CBD gives lots of inflammation and pain relief but no mental impairment or high that THC brings. Also there is the cannabis oil highly concentrated of both THC and CBD which can actually keep people well with Lyme disease, even causing herxes at higher doses. The cannabinoids actually have anti-bacterial properties as well.

There is a young woman on YouTube that shared her story about using cannabis oil with Lyme disease and she continues to be well with it too.

I dont understand why this is illegal its getting rid of the pain.. and the high wasn't bad.. I just my body totally calm, and put to the nicest sleep i've had in a while like 12 straight hours.

It Medically legal in my state and completely legal in my city. There is a practice with doctors that all specialize in alternative treatments and they do canna is teaching as their main practice. They teach about the high CBD low THC strains they also can stop seizures.

I've been reading how Cannabis Oil has cured some of cancer and Lyme, along with a few other diseases. I am almost 60 years old and I'll be the 1st to admit that if it were legal in my state I'd take it in a heartbeat if it would help me recover and help with my pain. As far as smoking goes....I can't stand to be around anyone smoking a cigarette, it chokes me And there are health hazards with smoking Cannabis just as much as people who smoke tobacco. I've heard the Cannabis Oil is the way to go. If they legalize it here, I'll be waiting in line to buy it.

There is a site where you can get it BUT in my state if I was caught getting this through the mail they'd send me to prison and hit me with a huge fine. I'm too darn sick to be in prison and i couldn't pay the fine. That is the only thing preventing me from trying to get it.

It's horrible they prescribe opiates but won't let people use medical marajuna. Opiates are the devil.

I used to love smoking recreationally, and still do when I can. However, it has the opposite effect for me - makes my pain way more intense. Maybe it's body chemistry or something, but I have to stay away from it if I don't want to be in ridiculous amounts of pain.

Drew thats really strange, I wonder why that would happen.... I don't smoke anything, I've only had tea with a high CBD super low THC. No cognitive effects, it only relaxed my muscles.

I can't take medication, pain meds give me nutty panic and make me throw up, muscle relaxants give me the spins no pharmaceutical has been worth the trade off this far. I'm very conservative and don't care for alcohol either but a little medical tea when it gets too much to handle anymore sometimes helps me. Marijuana makes everything more "intense" for a lot of people, especially your senses. This is usually awesome, but throw pain in there and it quickly goes downhill. Although I have access to good stuff, it may be that it is not considered a "medical" strain. I'm kind of curious, where did you get this tea from?

Alcohol definitely helps and has probably been the most effective pain killer for me - but I need to get drunk or get a very good buzz going for it to kick in. But, I don't want to drink that heavily on a regular basis. My doctor and I are experimenting with some painkillers right now. Gabapentin, Tramadol, Vicodin, and Flexeril have not done anything for me. Trying my luck with Oxycodone at the moment, we'll see how it goes! Ultimately, I'd like a long term pain reliever, so I might try asking him about Lyrica or Cymbalta.

That's interesting, I've been thinking of trying to eat better for a while now. I guess I've always ate well, but not lyme-diet well.

It's not legal where I live, but I could soon have access to it legally because I live right next to Washington State. And yeah, I guess we're all different. When I first got sick, I had a very low alcohol tolerance and it would actually throw me into a huge flare the next day. But, something changed... I don't feel any better, but alcohol no longer makes me flare.
