One of my many symptoms with Lyme has been dizziness. Does this mean it is neurological and I have to have IV antibiotics? My doctor does not use these and I don't want to do months or years and have no success. Thank you all for all you do. Your help on this site is so incredible. Blessings to all!

It could be mold too, do,you have a musty basement?

The dizziness could be the co-infection Babesia too. I had extreme dizziness and since starting herbal treatment for Babesia, it has pretty much gone away.

Hi daner I had neuro lyme with dizziness. But I had other neuro symptoms as well. I did not use IV but used oral abx. Hope this helps.

I too had neuro lyme with lots of dizziness. It has got much better with treatment, i used minocycline tinidazole and Plauqenil. This has helped quite a bit to clear this lyme out of my brain. I too thought I would need IV antibiotics but I hear there are lots of complications with these as well. So it isn't always the best approach.

I have been on antibiotics for awhile, practically since I got this illness from my friends infected tear which was exactly on the date of November 23rd, somewhere around 7:00 P.M., I then got symptoms just 24 hours later and then began the antibiotics on November 27th which was 200 mg minocycline daily since. But for tinidazole, I am just finishing up my 4th pulse.

Thank you for all the comments! You are all wonderful to reply so quickly. No to the mold...although I have implants that will need to be removed when I am feeling better and am stronger. Who knows what they have...vanity getting back at me! I have to wonder really if we all don't have this disease the way it is spread and all the different animals carrying it. I just pray that I get back to feeling ok again. May you all have a blessed weekend!

Maine 76...how did you learn all your children are infected. I have four and that is my biggest fear in life right now!
