Is anyone going to any of the protests? May 10th I'll be at one in Iowa. This will be a first for me, I hope I don't get thrown in jail. nono

I'd love to attend an event. How do you find out if there is one in your state? I'm in CT, you'd think we'd have them all over the place!

I think if you Google " world wide Lyme protest!" You should be able to find something.

Is may indeed lyme disease awareness month? How is that possible if nobody knows about it? LOL. Hence my point we need to do something about this!!! I will google my area too! I have to get in touch with the support group that's out here and get involved. Although I can't take a chance of getting thrown in jail.....lol good luck wildlife!

Is the Iowa protest in Des Moines? I wish I could go, but if it's too far I probably won't be able to unfortunately. I'll be there in spirit.

I heard about it being lyme awareness month on Facebook, being a member of some lyme Facebook pages. It's great to see some of the fb memes about lyme being posted and people posting about lyme-facts, etc. on their own fb pages. That's something I'm going to be doing throughout the month-posting informative things about lyme on my fb page, to spread the facts and truth!

I did read somewhere that a lot of people put green light bulbs in their front house lights for the month to show support. I forget what website it's from.

Yea I learned about it on Facebook. I have met a lot of people here in Iowa with Lyme. I don't know if I can put the persons name that invited me to it (and the protest in Washington this month) but I would sure pm it to you. She would be happy to have everyone here.
Yes lime green ribbons, porch lights, clothes etc.
Stacey The Iowa protest is at the capital building in Des Moines. There over 150 people signed up to be there.

I just received a notice that governor Branstead is officially making May, Lyme disease awareness month in Iowa. I was invited to the signing of papers, I may just go to see if it really happens.
Maybe people will wake up to Lyme someday and admit that its here and its BAD news.
