Are there many people getting better ,? Or do they get better and leave the site and never tell anyone ?
Seems there's a lot of people suffering and lots of different treatment but surely there must be happy stories somewhere to give people hope
Hubby is getting so down ,he's lost his job through having lymes
We are running out of ideas about
what he can try next
:(

There are success stories out there, I think they often don't get posted. There are lots of options if he hasn't had any response in the past year. Are you seeing a lyme literate doctor? You need a provider that understands lyme to be treated effectively. If not you should find one. Is he doing detox work?
There are tons of protocols to look into, cowden, Buhner, Marshall, jernigan among others. There is homeopathy, herbs, proper vitamins and supplements and things like that to consider.

Hi
Yes he has a good Dr and naturopath ,he's on a detox diet ,does everything he's told ,has saunas most days and uses a rife machine ,he's taking lots of herbs and vitamins ,but they keep saying he's herxing so he's been pushing on with it
He's has a few days where he's good up till about
2 pm then has to lay down .
But it gets so hard for him :( I'm not very good at being a nurse I never know what to say ,:(

We seem to have a lot of people asking this lately, so I went through many threads looking to see what I could find. I'm sure if someone used the 'search function' on this site, they could find more. Some of these threads get off topic, but the success stories are still there.
As you will see, it's repeated in many threads, that most people who get their lives back (success stories), just leave and go about
their lives - not thinking about
coming back to post that they are doing much better. This doesn't mean that they don't care, it means they were incredibly happy to get back to their busy lives!!!

My llmd had me fill out a chart with a list of know Lyme symptoms at my first visit. The scale was quite simple, put an x on the line marking how often and how severe , from never to constant.
I had completely forgotten about
this chart and at my second appt I filled out the same chart again. When we compared the charts I realized I was showing great improvements without even knowing it. I probably didn't realize it because I still felt like crap! Just not as bad. I have another appt later this month and I keep thinking about
the symptoms on this chart and how I keep getting better every day.
Just yesterday I finished siding the 3 story side of my house (walk out basement side) with only a ladder. Two months ago there is no way in he]] I could have done that.
OK I'm sitting here thinking of how stupid all this sounds and thinking of not posting it (maybe that's why there aren't as many success stories) but I will anyhow.
I still have my bad days but when I think of things like this it makes me feel better. I can and will kick lymes ***!!
OK, fingers tired of pecking at the keyboard so I'm pushing the submit button!!!

I am almost symptom free myself! Been on treatment for 3 months - I will be seeing my LLMD this week, so I will post an update. I am exercising and everything - and 4 months ago I was about
to admit myself into the hospital bc I was so sick. My 2 kids are already symptom free and have been treating for 2 months as well and are almost finished with their courses of antibiotics. You will get there!!!! =)

I got sick just over 10 years ago and mostly used natural treatments, homeopathy, herbs, etc. A real turning point for me, though, was when I started BodyTalk sessions at the beginning of 2018. My Lyme hasn’t recurred in two years and daily I feel completely fine and am able to function, work, etc. The only thing is that I’m still struggling to drive but it is improving slowly and I’m hoping that too will get back to normal.
