Hello,
This is my first post, although I've been here many times over the past few months.

Background:
I noticed a bite of some sort on my ankle May 2013. Months passed and sx were extreme fatigue, and brain fog. As time passed, fatigue and brain fog worsened, adding on joint soreness, headaches.

Relocated to TX, so was w/o insurance and was being seen at a local Christian clinic. I got tested through Igene and had +IFA>80, IGG -, and IGM ind.......

I was given 500 mg Amox 3x a day for 28days. No improvement, needless to say. I've been taking Jernigans CNS II and Borrelegon for the past 2.5 weeks. Off antbiotics since April 29.

Dr @ clinic keeps canceling appts., and nxt appt is May 19.

Sooooo great news is, I am scheduling an appt with Dr. S from Houston, TX. I am soo excited. As you all know this disease is tough.

I am hopeful I will get better, but most days I feel death is at my front door. I have 2 kids 2 & 5, and I want to be arund for them.

Any suggestions, tips, etc? I am just starting out. My main issues are stamina, head pressure and "dreamy like state" 24/7.....

Hello 1stLymster. Welcome to the forum! Since you already found a LLMD, I'd suggest you read through the "New to Lyme...Start Here!" thread at the top of the page. There you can learn about detoxing and diet, 2 things you can start up on now. They're both very important for healing in addition to what your doctor does. There are other things you can learn about there too.

Stick around for support for the ups and downs of Lyme disease. This is a great group of people. I wish you the best!

Hello 1stlymester,

I'm looking for LLMD in houston myself. I actually live in TN but travel to houston bc thats were im originally from. Im new to the forum too. I know we are not allowed to put doctors name on forum. Is there a way you can email ur LLMD name?
