For my daughter. She had a CT scan today for a swollen spot on her lower back, about the size of the palm of your hand. She has had it a while, but not that size and it started hurting this week. It's not discolored or anything, so I hope that's a good sign. It would just devastate her if it was anything serious. I'm trying not to worry. Hopefully the results will come in early next week. Thank you.

So sorry, Garden. I bet you're scared.

Is there any chance it could be an infected sebaceous cyst? I've had those in my back before.

Chances are, I guess the doctor would know, huh?

When do you get the results back?

I will think about her tonight, for certain.

Thank you everyone! She has been through so much already. I shouldn't worry until I know if there's something to worry about, but I've never quite learned that skill. I'm worse when my health is down. It was a long day of appts. for her. We went to our LLMD first for him to check it, then she saw our homeopath, then went in for the scan. I wasn't with her, so I couldn't ask how long it would take to get the results. I did set up an appt. with our LLMD next week to find out what the results are and that's on Thursday. We were just lucky to get in to see him on such short notice. I appreciated it.

He asked me if there was any cancer in our families, so that's what spooked me. Maybe 1 person did and others on my husband's side did if they were smokers, so that wouldn't be valid. I'll just be glad when next week is over.

Thank you. We're tired out today, but should be better tomorrow. Better weather is starting up now, so that always helps. I'll work in the garden tomorrow, my best therapy. I'll try to get my daughter out in the sun too.

She just likes to keep us on our toes. ;) The last time she ended up in the hospital and had an appendectomy. Once the doc told me what it looked like, I saw that it didn't need to come out. It just had a little puss at the bottom of it, so I think the remedy was working on correcting it, but she was in a lot of pain and wanted to do it, so she did. I wish she still had it since it could be helping her now.

Just saw this post Garden Peace, I understand the stress of waiting for the results of these kind of tests.

I hope you'll all be able to breathe again next week. And that meanwhile, you will be able to bring those stress levels down.

Thank you everyone! She's doing pretty good, as far as I can tell. She's good at hiding her feelings though. I'm not bringing it up much so that she can do the things she does to not think about her problems.

She made a really fantastic dinner for me yesterday and I think that helped her to do it. She's such a sweet and wonderful person. We're supposed to have some sunny and warm days this week, so that helps her quite a bit. I just hope she doesn't wake up with a worse headache after all she did yesterday. I told her I didn't want her doing anything to make her feel worse, but she ignored me. She did do a session on the Biomat and I think she took a hot shower before bed, so hopefully those helped her. Thanks again for your prayers, good thoughts and support!

We got the results yesterday and it seems to just be a spinal misalignment causing that area to swell, so I'm glad I put my worrying aside after the first couple of days. I may have to switch to a different chiro for her if our current one can't help it.

Our doc was in a goofy mood, joking and laughing. I asked him just what exactly was in his cup. LOL . My daughter is usually the one who gets him laughing, but she didn't do anything. He gets a kick out of her sarcasm and seems to enjoy her, so that makes for an enjoyable appt. What a difference it makes for his patients. Too bad more doctors can't get off their pedestal and be more light hearted like that.

Thanks travelor. :-) Now she'll start taking Thunder Pearls again at a higher dose and also Lightening Pearls. She responded very well to the Thunder and this will be her first time on the other one, so I hope she will respond to it as much as she did when she was taking the Thunder Pearls. He told us that several ingredients are the same in the two, with just a few differences, so I don't see why they couldn't blend the two. More money I suppose.

Now to get my other girl better. Her schooling is hard when she's healthy, so it's much harder when she's sick.
