@Lymebabe- yes you will get there!! It's possible and I lost all hope at many points last year. The paranoia from Bart was terrible I constantly thought I would be fired from my job and that all my friends were talking about me behind my back. It's bizarre to think a bacteria could cause such psychological effects.

Hi Yogi,

A few questions.  What kind of dosing were you on for your tinidazole?  Did you have Mycoplasma?  Also what were your co-infections?  Just Borrelia and Bartonella?

I do not have mycoplasma (as far as I know...) what are the symptoms for that? And for the Tinidazole..... I want to say I was taking 500mg 2x day??? Honestly I can't remember but I can find out if you'd like. From what I recall it made me soooooooooo tired- but I kept on truckin'. And yes just Borrelia and Bart- was positive (thankfully) for initial Borrelia antibody test. IgeniX test didn't show up anything for Bart-- however, a I clearly had it based on all of the neuro symptoms and crying practically 1/2 of each day for maybe 6 months. The anxiety was the worst.

How are you fairing???

To be honest I really don't know what the mycoplasma symptoms are. One LLMD said it's nothing to be concerned about and the major symptom is just fatigue. But then I'm reading elsewhere and it says it could lead to anything from ALS to MS... And other neurological diseases. One thing I got is intense pain/pressure like sensation in my chest but that is gone now. I believe that was mycoplasma pneumonia as I know that strain likes the lungs and respiratory tract. Lyme knocked out my immune system so I am hoping it didn't allow these mycoplasmas to spread everywhere.

I too am on 500 mg twice daily. So I was wondering if you were prescribed the same amount as me. I am doing 5 days on 2 days off.

My Bartonella test also came back negative, but I had lots of bartonella symptoms like burning, anxiety, insomnia. So of course got treatment for it which helped so much. My Bart symptoms are for the most part cleared up. But I get minor inflammation from time to time.

For me I was doing so well for the past few weeks and was virtually symptom free, but now something is flaring up in my brain. I am getting a few neuro symptoms like brain tingling, scalp tingling, sometimes an electrical shock like feeling, headaches, and brain vibration sensations. These symptoms particularly just flared up in the past 4-5 days. Did you get any symptoms like this? I wonder if it is from Lyme? The tinidazole? Or other drugs? Or it could be mycoplasma?

So happy for you! I'm one of the unfortunate people who weaned off of Lorazepam and having W/D symptoms and they are not cute!

I hope to join you in the ranks of being healed. Started acupuncture this week and will get a colonic or two done in June and starting up aqua chi foot baths. I feel toxic and all this dead stuff has to come out!
