Leg pain anyone. ?

I have leg pain all the time - couple that with having a hard time sitting down (that's because of my cyst) and you get a real fun time. I know as for my left leg one of my dr. was like get an MRI now because if something's pinching a nerve you could lose your ability to walk on it... yeah, "nothing" is causing it (this is actually how I found my cyst in the first place)... I get more burning, numbness, tingling than muscle cramps (I think, I'm still not sure about different pains)...

I had the leg pain and weakness you describe. It was a severe for a while and then has come and gone various times to lesser extent.

It seems to be a combination of nerve spasms, muscle cramping and toxin build up. To relieve the worst symptoms I used detoxing, light movement and stretching, hot tub/therapy pool, and --when necessary -- pain killers and muscle relaxers.

I have an incredible amount of pain in both legs! Starts in my toes, heels, all the way up to my hips! Everyday all day. Some days are just better than other days.

I have nerve pain on occasion and several things seem to influence it. If I am treating Lyme aggressively, I seem to have a lot of Ammonia problems which is a side effect of breaking down proteins. I am a NAET practitioner which is an Acupuncture modality that eliminates allergies. For me the nerve pain is related to several things. I have had a lot of MCS in the past and still battle it. I noticed that when I muscle test Ammonia and go weak on it. If I do an NAET treatment on Ammonia, the nerve pain goes away. The other thing at least for me that causes a huge amount of nerve pain down the front of my leg into my knee is allergies to plastics. I noticed when pushing a shopping cart that has a plastic handle, my nerve pain would suddenly get worse. After muscle testing myself, I realized that I had a big allergy to plastics. It is difficult to clear plastics because they are everywhere and it takes a lot of persistence. When I eventually do clear plastics however the nerve pain goes away. I found that glutathione is a detoxer of plastics and by adding a few drops of Readisorb liquid glutathione into a low volume coffee enema using a small bulb syringe really helps to reduce the BPAs that have built up in my system. Years ago, I was putting ascorbic acid in a plastic sports water jug and later found out that the ascorbic acid was leaching the plastics into my water. Anyway, Lyme and foods obviously have an impact on my inflammatory response, so avoiding wheat and dairy does help reduce inflammation.

LOL, I know how you feel Anne :) Cheating for me is coconut sugar in my decaf coffee every now and then lol.. sad but true.

Shan- When I herx my legs feel like a combination of being hit by a car and being set on fire.... not exaggerating by much here... Of course, with this kind of pain, it leaves me weak and unstable, as motion makes it worse. Lying down doesn't help either, though.

I will take a meloxicam for inflammation, drink some turmeric tea, and take an epsom salt bath (not too warm though) and this seems to help.

My Nerve pain comes on at night in the middle of the night. I have been trained in NAET and am pretty good at tracking down the source. For me, the main cause is Ammonia which is one of the Neurotoxins left behind when treating Lyme. The fact that it comes on at about 1:30 AM which corresponds to the time the liver is most active leads me to believe it is a Neurotoxin issue. I try and take a lot of binders before I go to bed so that when the liver dumps the toxins, there are things in place to absorb the toxins, Chlorella, Bentonite Clay followed by flax about 10 minutes later seems to help. Some people use charcoal or Yucca.
When I do a NAET treatment on Ammonia, the situation resolves for awhile, but doesn't last.

The second thing that I figured out is causing my nerve pain is wireless sensitivity. When I did a NAET treatment on WIFI the small amount of pain I was having in my groin area resolved. Other things that are contributing factors for me is Hydrocarbons. I am extremely sensitive to air pollution and plastics which is a petroleum based product. I use only 100% Organic cotton sheets and blankets, because Polyester causes nerve pain in my legs. Lyme causes a lot of Auto-immune problems, so for each of us it is different. I eventually got DNA testing which totally confirmed my sensitivity to plastics and Hydrocarbons as I have complete mutations on some of the genes responsible for methylating these things out of the body. Also the presence of molds in your house could be a factor since the Mycotoxins can cause nerve injury. You must play detective and clean up your environment. I got a Wifi protection canopy for my bed, so that my cells aren't being bombarded by wireless signals all night and my body gets a break.

Sorry to hear about a cyst. I get pain mostly in my calves, and I use Lidocaine patches. I also get pain in my knees, mostly when I'm in bed.

Oh wow, Arcticmoon, that sounds like a lot of work, getting rid of all that stuff! I am sooo tired tonight; can you tell?

btw Arctic, you have a very poetic name. It immediately made me visualize, well, a beautiful moon somewhere north of the Arctic circle, perhaps some wolves, etc.

I have a lot of leg pain, it's weird I think I was born with leg pain, had it all my life. But when I got the Lyme 15 yrs ago I mostly had neck pain and now has moved to butt and legs.

Yesterday was really bad, I almost feel normal tonight. Been on treatment since November and I believe I am starting to feel better. This is funny the refrigerator kicked on and my foot started vibrating, thought the vibrating was coming back but I guess the vibration was due to the frig.

I just wanted to say since using Colloidal silver my nerve pain has been reduced so far. It's really worth a try. I am on everything else available, IV ozone (which could also be helping), ozone at home, all of the herbals available, and high dose vitamin C. Vitamin C also helps - then Silver, then ozone. Hope this helps
