This is off topic - but I noticed you used to be in a wheelchair, and are now out of it. So, what treatment worked for you, and are you still treating?
Have you now plateaued in your treatment?
You've had such a tough go...I feel for you...it makes me feel bad about the whining I do ...when I read what you've through - wow you're a survivor....
Hope you find the treatment that works for you soon...don't give up...it's out there!
Hey Girlie,
It was a combination of 3 things or more...
1. ***Stem cell**** must try!!!!
2. stopped treating the lyme (explanation at bottom)
3. I went to a dr. in Grass Valley, Ca, usa. Within 4 days of treatment, i
opened a water bottle all by myself after years, years an years of not being able to. My mom and I cried, haha :) it was a touching moment. After that i quickly improved through receiving treatments from him. He's intense for those who don't like long needles, he shoots you up in your scalp, back of your knees, ovaries, spine, you name it, its amazingly painful :) haha. But it REALLLLY helped!!!! At that point my mom was wiping my a**, bathing me, changing me, feeding me, etc. So all of that? Got better, i finally was able to sit up without seizing, i had to learn to walk again and get rid of the atrophy in my ankles and knees.
It was a process, but i am still able to walk on my own, and only use the wheel chair when i know i'll be standing or walking long. I still battle a list load of symptoms daily and am pretty much confined to my home or bed each month. There are occasional times where i am able to go out for a few a hours with friends or my fiance, but i take medication for the pain and pay for the activities later.
Dr.'s were giving me time estimates for my life expectancy left and right of how long i had, so i stopped treatment 3 years ago so i could feel like myself and hopefully live longer (felt like treating the lyme was killing me). From there i went all natural with just keeping to eating as perfect as possible, thinking positive, testing my body for what it needs and when, and went off all the pain medications (methadone, oxy/oxy i-r, valium etc) because my liver kept sending me to the e.r/hospital for liver failure. I use medical marijuana now along with herbs and neurotransmitter pills and homeopathic remedies.
I hope you and i both find something amazing soon :) ahh i would just love that!! *hugs*
