Suggestions for dealing with pain?

I’m in pain 24/7 in almost my entire body. Any suggestions on dealing with this would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear about the pain. If you want to try something natural and cheap, you could use cayenne pepper. Google it's health effects on pain. Good luck.

What did you try up until this point?

Have you tried many painmeds? Boswellia? Turmeric?

I tried everything myself, nothing would work: opioids, lyrica, turmeric, boswellia, 'ordinary' painmeds. Nothing. Not exceptional for Lyme patients says my dr.

I started low dose naltrexone about 1,5 month ago and it's helping with the pain. Have you tried it? I have to say though that results are not the same for everyone.

Thanks for the tips. I will try the Cyenne. I have tried turmeric with no results. I also tried Cymballta and that was a complete train wreck. Made me pretty much insane. Vicodin works wonders but I only had a handful from my wisdom teeth removal. And I assume that taking it every day would destroy my liver. My doc won't give me anything for the pain natural or otherwise. He basically tells me to tough it out. That would be fine if I ever got a break from the pain. Waking up is the hardest becasue I go from dreaming with no pain to pain everywhere all at once...

Have you tried curcumin? It's recommended by Dr. M. Ross in his treatment guidelines. I believe it's the ingredient in tumeric.
I haven't tried it yet, but I'm thinking about it. Opiods do not work for me. Anti-inflammatories don't either...so not sure if curcumin will as I think it is a natural antiinflammatory.

A lot of people get relief from LDN but it never worked for me.

I kinda laughed when someone told me to eat fresh pineapple. I ate 4 rings and my back ache, head ache and stomach cramps were gone within an hour.
Then I researched it and found out pineapple is a antiinflammatory and pain releaver. Wow who would have thought.

What really works for me is stretching. Incredibly, it seems to help with muscle pain and bone pain. I have major fatigue so I can't really exercise because it just exhausts me, but I can stretch. I find even just a few minutes a day helps.

When my back hurts, or my ribs, or my thighs, I just find some way to stretch them out. I even sit like a frog and go up on my toes to stretch them out when they hurt. I suggest that even if you're lying in bed all day, find a way to stretch those muscles out. Stretching has so many benefits.

I dont know if its legal or not in your State, but marijuana oil is supposed to be good for pain. My husband wants me to ask my Dr for it but Im not sure about it.

Youre not alone - Constant pain is a symptom of mine too. I do get some relief when I sleep.

Yes, it's important for you to get a break from the pain. I feel the same way.
I have had some days where I have some pain free hours.
How long have you had the unrelenting pain?

Is it all over your body, or a specific area? If it's a specific area, maybe a topical treatment..or have you tried heating pads...or a tens unit?

Sorry, I see you said pretty much your entire body.

Have you tried Corydalis? It's a natural chinese pain reliever - I think from a poppy plant (not an opiate, though) I saw it on Dr. Oz.
I tried it, but it didn't seem to work for me, but my husband tried it and he said he felt some pain relief.

I do that too now, and it really makes a difference. Just some light stretching when I wake up in the morning. You know, stretching like a cat does when she wakes up, even that helps.

Very sorry to hear about the unrelenting pain. It does make one feel like going over the edge, and unless a person experiences this, there's no way for someone to grasp the devistation this causes to the whole person. I hope you find relief, soon.

Have you heard about coffee enemas? There has been great success is pain relief, as this pulls out mega toxins via the colon route. If you don't have the enema bag, using a disposable one that you fill with the cooled, brewed coffee will do the trick.

I do suggest using organic coffee for this, if you decide to go this route.

Sorry to hear this Akami, I've been dealing with it for 15 yrs now. Opiates have helped me but now I take ultram and it seems to work, I can on most days only take one dose. Also at night I take a flexaril because I always felt like I can't relax.

Have you tried a hot bath? That helps and I sleep with a heating pad and also have one in the chair I sit in. Also some light yoga/stretching.

Or have you heard of earthing? Go to www.earthing.com. Or they say to go put your bare feet in the raw ground for about 20 minutes. I have the bands for starters but you can purchase a pad or a half sheet depending on your finances. People swear their pain is gone.

My neck has bothered me the most and I've had chiropractic work done. The best thing was when I went to a chiro that practices NUCCA, I got a lot of flexibility back and it's lessened the pain and stiffness.

Thanks for all the taips everyone. I will try all of these for sure. I used to eat fresh Pineapple but my doc has me on a diet tha tonly allows one serving of fruit a day. I guess I should make it pineapple.

Lyrica gave me some relief, but in my case, it affected gut motility, so I had to stop.

I think there is a herb called Dragon Claw (this is different from cats claw) that is supposed to help with pain.

Detoxing has helped a lot with pain. Detox baths, takesumi, and gluten have always help me.
