Has anybody had severe periferal neuropathy?

Severe symptoms are different for everyone, what are some of your symptoms? Just tell us a bit more about what's going on if you can.

Many times the neuropathy that we deal with is a direct result of the infections that we carry, so symptoms will go away as you heal from the Lyme, Bartonella or whatever else you may have.

Inflammation is a huge part of the infection process for these infections. If you aren't currently taking some kind of an anti inflammatory, then you should talk to your doctor about starting them, or starting herbs that are anti-inflammatory. This will usually bring down pain levels as well.

It's no problem - I know I come off a little strong to many people, and we are all ill and not feeling well, so we are a bit sensitive too. I'm sorry if I did offend in any way.

It's always best to get other things checked and to be sure it's not something else in my opinion, but Neuro Lyme can most definitely cause all of those things. I know I had those same symptoms (even the morphea, although not over a huge area or severe), plus more symptoms.

Forgive me for not remembering - there are just too many members to remember everyone's details!- but are you in treatment? Has anything in your treatments changed in the last 3 weeks or so?

Your test results would indicate Lyme - that bacteria has to get inside of us somehow. Combined with your symptoms, you should be able to get treatment.
