Need LLMD in Central Florida

Delmar - Yes, I would be interested. Thanks! We would prefer to find a doctor in Central FL, but I know good LLMDs are few and far between, so we are willing to drive farther if necessary.

Roxie -I really don't know. I do not recall ever being bitten by a tick or having an EM rash. Florida does have ticks, though. We found one on our dog once. We have also done some camping and hiking in the mountains, so it is possible I have been bitten and just did not notice it.

Also, I have family members with lyme, so I could have contracted it from them somehow. I know there is some debate about that.

That is ok. Sorry you are in this battle. I was asking because I believe I got infected while on a trip to Orlando. I came to that conclusion this past FEB after finally convinced I have coinfections and probably lyme (even though tests have been 'officially' negative'). I kept trying to figure out when and where, like you I recall having bites but dont recall seeing a tick(s) but it was ten years ago. To my surprise within a week of deciding based on my health history I was infected in Orlando (although at the time I was still thinking lyme was primarily an east coast illness, at least that is what my drs over the years told me) I was listening to Lymelight radio and to my shock a woman got on the line to talk with the host and said she and her family got lyme in Orlando....you could of knocked me over with a feather. So I'm still seeking evidence that lyme is in central Florida, that is why I asked. Hope you find an LLMD close. I drive 3hrs one way for mine in Indiana.

Can anyone recommend an LLMD in the Central Florida area? Got a great lead on one in Ft. Lauderdale (thanks Delmar!), but Central Florida would be a little closer for me. Just thought I would check.
