For many years I thought it was the medical term for a fear of heights but today I learned otherwise - it is much more complicated than that. For quite a while I have been troubled by a combination of symptoms that made me believe I had something sinister growing in my head until I found this, the top 10 symptoms of vertigo - I scored 10 - I have them all.

Sometimes I am scared to move so much as my little finger for fear of setting off motion sickness. The only co-infection I wasn't tested for was bartonella (because I don't own a cat). Lesson learned........If an ID doctor asks you if you have a cat, say YES, because isn't vertigo a strong indicator of bartonella or is this an independent condition?
